Hope all is going well with you and your family, was hoping you’d stop by at some point. I was lucky enough to scored some of your Purple Poison Cookies #4 f2 and some Dosifyah #2, thanks to the incrediblely generous @misterbee (which is an understatement to say the least) thank you again sir you are simply amazing. im so excited to run them (again understatement) lol, they are both in next runs line up for sure

Got more yogurt containers from work to transplant the remaining 3 jawlato and 2 ak47x blueberry into. This is our first attempt at making a super soil and we went a little light wen adding the dry amendments originally, so after transplanting I also gave them a lil top dress hoping these will start to take off in a week once they have had time to absorb it all, like the ufs 18s and tigers milk did.

Will also be adding the remaining worm castings along with more kelp meal, alfalfa meal, crab meal, bio fish, bone meal, seabird quano, high nitrogen bat quano, langbeinite, and mycorrhizae to the remaining soil mix we already made so it can cook for a few inan attempt to strengthen it up.

The bottom 7 are the 6 ufs18 ( I ended up tossing one it was beyond stunted no new growth for 4 days) and 1 tigers milk (which I personally think looks the best it’s my first bodhi strain )

Top five back 3 jawlato front two ak47 x blueberry 🫐

Just thought this was an interesting looking bug, found it yesterday on my zinnias, couldn’t get a good pic in the rain was excited wen i found it still there today, was actually inspecting for earwigs, lil bastards ate most of the petals then started munching on the healthy leaves :pensive: they had to go they did however get rid of the aphids. Anyway here’s a pic of a candy striped leafhopper, first time I’ve seen one thought it was interesting the color is wat caught my eye

Dig the close up of that zinnia too! Good to see you logging again!

@Meesh thanks it feels good logging again helps keep track of things much better I’m sure u already know that. Last run I let the bf take the lead I just wasn’t feeling it, plus its really only big enough for one person at a time in the closet. I’m lucky though we work really well together he’s not really feeling this run just yet so I’ll be taking the lead on this one.

The jawlato and ak47x blueberry are responding nicely to the transplant, the smaller of the aks was looking a lil droopy glad it’s starting to perk back up. They all seem to be growing much better just gunna let them keep doing there thing. Really interested to see if changing the soil up will make a difference in the final yeild only one way to find out, actually still have to add the rest of the amendments to the super soil hoping by posting about it, that will get my butt in gear

My outside zinnias are recovering from the damn earwigs, I’m still finding at least two or three a day it’s my own fault I put the containers right near ivy apparently they love ivy, it’s the best spot in the yard for sun think I’ll put some Vaseline on the stems near the flowers so they can’t eat the new petals, I’m trying not to kill the juvenile ladybugs that are still on them. My peppers are also starting to grow

Second yellow/orange zinnia

3 peppers on this plant so far only one on the other :sunglasses:

I just love the viberant colors happy growing :seedling:

Gorgeous! Stick cans or something with veggie oil and a few drops of soy sauce. The earwigs will go in there.

I did read that on Google actually and of course my stoner brain forgot lol looks like I’ll be making a pit stop for more soy sauce real quick, I do remember using the last of mine the other day. Found a few more on them today, definitely want to put that out asap before they get to munching again, @Meesh thanks for the tip Very much appreciate

I heard that :butterfly: @Budafly :butterfly: 's see more colors than we do, colors between the ones we recognize in a rainbow, like “the other blue between the blues” & I guess it’s at least several. Hard to imagine “new” colors for me… :man_shrugging:

I became a big fan of wasps and spiders since I moved here. Learning about the bigger picture also helps our understanding of insects. I’ve become sort of nerdy with all of them around here.

We’re not near any large agricultural growing or other chemical operations so our insect community seems to be in balance pretty well. Our town and county don’t spray ditches along roads like they do back east.

I live alone and have become sort of entertained by the bugs and the birds. I never had this much time to observe them in the way I do now. And getting stoned makes it even more interesting, lol.

This world is so complex, yet most of us never see more than what we want to. And, in the populated areas, we kill anything that is a nuisance to us in any way, even before we study the effects of it. peace

@GMan, I’m with you I’m always listening to the birds and watching for new bugs esp wen I’m stoned ur right it does make it more interesting, if ppl would just put their phones down, it’s actually amusing taking the bus or train every person is looking down at their phones just letting this wonderful world pass them by.

I just took a pic of a juvenile lady bug in it’s final stage before becoming an adult, i love listening to the birds I’m starting to be able to tell the difference just by their calls have lots of blue Jays around us, I love the Cardinals too not as many due to the blue Jays imitating hawks to scare off other birds.

Overgrow is the only social media account I have and that’s cuz it’s an amazing community of like minded ppl that love growing

Nice, I couldn’t agree more. I even have a bird that comes to visit me about a half dozen times a day. It’s a barn swallow, and I’m not sure why he’s so friendly, but if I’m outside and hear him, I look up and there he is sitting on the wire overhead. Ha, I talk to him and he just chatters away. He’ll do that any time I’m out. When I sit on the front porch in the evening smoking a bowl and having a drink, he comes under the porch and lands on or above the porch light and chatters away at me again. It’s really neat. Never had that before.

I’ve been observing a good many of them raise their little babies. It just gets more and more interesting to me. I have lizards, snakes, tons of insects and other tiny critters. I just love it and can’t get enough. It reminds me of being a kid when you were better at seeing things in the grass than you were at bigger issues.

Take plenty of pics. I’ll try to remember to bring some by. My camera started working somewhat after a year or two drying out from a kayak mishap, lol… So, as long as it works I’ll get back to it. My iPhony sucks as a camera. It’s an old 6s. peace

One of the jawlato’ s is male into the trash he goes, we had our suspicions about that one anyway O well , this is how we justify having so many strains and dropping so many you have to account for males, duds, and other problems lol sounds good
