Good for you my dad quit cold turkey 30 years ago now 4 packs of red pall malls a day.
He’d wake up in the night and have 3.
Most times one in his hand and one in the ash tray still going on.

If you can make it 2-3 weeks, you’ll have the worst of it over. You have to just tell yourself, not even a puff. I tried that a few times and ended up right back in it. Just never take another hit. I had to choose between one or the other, pot or cigs… Easy choice.

@GMan ur right that is an easy one, I can’t even take one puff starts it all over again, so far haven’t bought a pack in 2 days my bf bought one yesterday lasted him two days compared to the 3 packs between us we were buying in a single day, staying positive just tired of talking about quitting n not actually doing anything about it so now I am I’ll take all the positive vibes I can get

It’s hard and it was for me, too. Treat yourself good for every milestone, like each hour, lol. I had to do it like that… if I can do it for a day, then I can do it for two days. If I can go for four hours without thinking about it, then I can get busy and go another 4 hours… and keep that up. You can do it and you won’t believe how happy you’ll feel about yourself if you can do it. It does get easier once you get beyond a few weeks. Prayers and vibes sent!

Update time 
the plants are all growing nicely, have been defoliating the two older ufs18s to open up for air flow and so light can get to the smaller bud sites, topped the ufs18 seedling it’s really starting to get it’s grow on along with the 4 blk triangle crosses they are really catching my eye they have been since germinating nice vigor in them, just need to sex them hopefully will get at least 3 females rn we have 12 plants going total of 5 different strains
1 jawlato jawbreaker x gelato, 2 ak47x blueberry, 2 SD sour desiel, all confirmed female, the 3 ufs18 (2 confirmed) and the 4 black triangle crosses all unconfirmed.
Added a small amount of dry amendments to a watering maxsea 16-16-16 they responded nicely standing tall that night

Just a lil before pic I gave some of them a nice defoliation mainly the 3 gallon SD the 3 gallon ak blueberry and the jawlato will add after pic later they are looking good so far the ak is having some trouble looks like a deficiency of some kind I gave her a lil top dress of bio fish hoping that helps also moved the 5 gallons to the back now you can see the ak blueberry 3 gallon and the jawlato a lil better they look naked will be full of leaves again in a few days

I’ve been chewing extra sugar free spearmint gum more than half the time now instead of smoking. It helps cuz it gives me something to do. I’ve been on chantix for months so the ritual is my biggest hang up now.

@Meesh it really is probably the hardest thing I’ve done, the craziest part is I don’t enjoy any of it wen I do cave n have one I get so pissed at myself immediately I regret it, now that I have my Nespresso machine to work towards I’m starting day one over today im stubborn so I’m hoping that helps me get through this, I have started smoking more weed wen I crave one really bad it seems to help just wen I’m stoned n go to light up a butt I have to remind myself I’m quitting lol helps that I don’t have any to start the day and won’t be buying a pack so far I feel good about this my downfall has been disagreements with the man I literally waited a full 24hrs the other day to have a cigarette after we argued about something stupid couldn’t even tell you wat it was over either

I started rolling trim joints when I quit. It really helped when I was drinking with friends as that was a major trigger. Maybe buy an ounce of some nice CBD flower so you can smoke more.

yes I love that idea will be looking into that asap, thank you everyone today isn’t bad I’m home so that helps don’t have work stressing me out I am able to occupy my time with things I enjoy doing so I don’t want to stop n go have a smoke I did come across a massive bee on my smoke walk early brought it back to my garden put it on a zinnia think it’s dieing poor thing can’t fly it’s wing seems messed up
I was freaking out the whole time it was on me asked it nicely not to bit me

That’s about how I roll all day, lol… I save stranded insects and talk to lizards and birds! 
It helps pass the day getting more. in tune to my environment I’m not sure why, except that I have a lot of them, but I’m really amazed by the insect world. It’s really fascinating.

My peppers are changing colors one broke off today wen I was inspecting them will be adding it to tonight’s dinner can’t wait to finally try one the greener of the two reddish ones broke off

Confirmed one of the black triangle crosses was male into the trash he goes, three left to confirm one definitely looks female will wait for a white hair for final confirmation on them tho
