Not growing related on vacation w the fam we just got back from lobstering, so much fun was the first time any of us had been, was very hands on the kids loved it got to open the traps, take out the lobsters band up the keepers, even put the females that had any current eggs or markings (notches) on their tails back so they can keep reproducing, we got to take a few home to cook up too definitely made some memories that will last a lifetime for all of us
This is one we caught she came with us, can u say yummy, sheās probably 2.5 lbs never been caught had no markings on the tail

Is that in the northeast? I sure like eating them, so I know Iād enjoy catching them! The seafood you catch yourself is always the best.

@GMan you guessed it, itās our first time catching and eating our own too, thought we took home 4 itās actually 5 was draining the excess water from the cooler and was pleasantly surprised last night, we just have to wait till we get home to cook em up itās only till tomorrow tho so we should manage

OMG YUM! You are gonna have a lobster feast! So jealous! That boat ride and lobstering looks like a blast! I would love to do something like that. Maybe next time I visit Boston, instead of just the airport!

OH GREAT! MY PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED! You have an extra lobster, as in you need an extra guest, and I just happen to have a stomach who is free!
When I was living down in west Texas our homebrew beer club put on a lobster boil party once a year. Mmmmmmmmmm, lobsterrrrrr, /homersimpson

@GMan we actually have two extra lobsters thereās only 3 of us n my sons not that big of a lobster fan heās about to be tho. I see lots of lobster in our near future, you are more then welcome to join just follow the delicious smell

All the plants survived our mini vaca and are really starting to come along, the 3 ufs18 have caught up it seems. I was worried most about the seedling esp being in solo cups they did great, they are ready for a transplant later, the gsc never popped o well it happens

Confirmed the middle ufs18 is female , gave them a lil defoliation a cpl days ago to get light to the lower sites, they are responding nicely donāt want to stress them out to much still just watering at a lower PH
Transplanted one of the black triangle x sour desiel x snow lotus into a 3 gallon pot as a tester on Monday the 19th, finally got the super soils pH down now itās between 6-6.5, ended up adding a good amount of bar harbor blend potting soil contains peat & perlite enriched with compost lobster & seaweed. Still waiting on some fox farm ocean forest to get delivered before we transplant the rest going to do half in the super soil and half in the fox farm ocean forest/happy frog 50/50 mix just in case the super soil stalls them out again Iām hopeful itās going to work this time we will see never ended up getting the soil tested which reminds me I need to look into.

Ya it took a lil bit for them to get going again, Iām still amazed at how resilient these plants can be they are looking better every day, canāt wait to see them in flower, just waiting for the seedling to catch up till we flip prob another cpl weeks give or take

Transplanted the seedling into 3 gallon pots, had to toss a few to make room one ufs a SD and the first seedling we transplanted of the black triangle x sour desiel x snow lotus, the ones in the smaller pots will be given away to a friend, the front two on the right are in the soil mix I made the rest are in our old mix ffof/ hf, hoping I figured out the soil recipe only one way to tell
They all were due for a watering today added a tiny bit of molasses and some fish shit pH was around 6.1

Thanks for tagging along, started off a lil rocky in the beginning the ufs18s seem to be doing much better after some adjustments definitely learned alot,
Iām excited about the black triangle x sour desiel x snow lotus seedling they are just starting to take shape and so far the structure seems nice the nodes are close together and pretty uniform so far, who knows these might be the stars of the grow

Tossed the two seedling in the soil mix I made, they just werenāt keeping up honestly was afraid of having another stall out so we transplanted the leftover two into the 3 gallon using ffof/hf (it worked out as the person we were giving them to couldnāt take them) just waiting on them to catch up and will flip to flower soon, also topped the ufs18 seedling and one of the blk triangle crosses
Doing some training on the blk triangle crosses, nothing serious just to get the lower sits some more light to speed up growth

Also unrelated today is the first day of really quitting smoking butts 
(not weed) had my last last night after dinner, itās not too bad Iām not irritable which is a good thing I have been getting a craving every now and then definitely been eating more today Iām going to blame that on the munchies tho 
doing it cold turkey my mind is just made up Iām done I fucking hate it the smell taste cost everything I want to be healthier plus the money Iāll save, Iād rather put it towards anything else

Congratulations brother! Thats a hard one, been there a few times myself, and need to quit as well. Just know I wont be successful again until a few stars align, but I wont quit quittingā¦
