Doesn’t surprise me at all, Hamilton lost one of their shops already and the main one has limited hours including closing at 2pm on Sat/closed Sun. With the slim profit margins in pot shops (roughly 60% mark up, well short of rhe standard 100%) and limited competition selling glass and hydro gear only makes sense. Tap into all the people who won’t buy legal pot but do spend lots on glass or gear.
Mine went online and closed its door about a year ago
For legal producers I can suggest trying to find something by OGEN , had both their ‘lemon z’ and ‘gas berries #112’. Smaller private owned producer that only grows a few strains , vs offering a bit of everything under the sun.
I use to like ogen until I read about how they screwed their master cultivator over which forced him to take them to court for breach of contract/wrongful dismissal. I’ll see if I can dig it up as it’s an interesting look into the dysfunction in corporate weed, which is why I generally recommend micro growers as the ethical choice.
Thanks for brining this to my attention, its been quite some time since I’ve had any LP herbs
Seems accurate, sadly still a step up from Hamilton though lol
The best part of Hamilton is the fact that it is not Toronto.
No hard feelings to any OGs in the GTA, I just prefer enjoying everything Toronto has to offer from across the lake.
This is why i Scarbs.
The Scarbs…
(AKA Teenage wasteland…yes, I know it well…)
…Proudly proclaiming their independence from the GTA since 1795…
Nifty Trivia: January is “Pick on Scarberia month” in the GTA…
Cheers

Every month is pick on Scarborough month:
“Where is Scarborough? Is it like, near Cobourg?”
Beat me to it
No… That’s Oshawa, but I understand the confusion…
{NOTE: I only ‘pick on’ places I’ve lived in…}

Lolololol, I lived in Scarlem a few times, not quite how I remember it.

That’s what we called it, lol.
It’s where everyone who passes out on the subway wakes up in their dazed confusion… It’s a might night of drinking to end up out towards coburg in the Dirty 'swha lol
"the government’s forecast was based on a “plausible but optimistic” set of economic and interest-rate assumptions that are unlikely to come true.
They warn there is a “high likelihood of a more severe recession” this year "
Grow more vegetables is what I take of that lol
