The Canadian Contingent (Part 1)

Agreed, when I switched I went from a 60 litre tank if regular a 90 litre tank of premium. That first fill up was painful.

alternatively you could look at a small trailer, their not difficult to learn to drive and aluminum ones will stay looking great for a long time and are lighter for smaller vehicles to be able to tow.

if your in Ontario best deals i ever get on trailers is action trailers in London

People are going mental around here the panic buying is real. It’s like when the COVID initially hit, I’m back on rations at the pharmacy! Calm Blue Ocean.

Might take a few days…, well, it will take a few days. If not, a week or so. But it will get better in time. I am not going to freak out about it like most people are.

just BC or did I miss something…?

I’m not even sure how widespread the insanity is, but nothing flooded out around here. People still went nuts at the store and bought up everything. This was in Nelson BC, everything was bought up at the stores.

My Yaris has had:

2x clutch replacements
2x exhaust replacements (Toronto + winter = SALT DEATH)
1x Total break overhaul (took 16 years, I use the engine to break so my pads get to 2mm before my mechanic yells at me).

The dent in the door when someone backed into my car when parked in a public lot has this over it made out of 3m uber reflective film:

$500 to fix the door, or I do it… so fuck it. Bandaid that shit.

I hope all of my fellow OG’s that are out west are doing okay throughout all of what is going on currently. Was just out that way in the summer, and BC cannot be beat.

They almost killed my dog.
They pooped on my roof.
They nested in my chimney.
One got trapped in my garbage can and scared the shit out of me. I had to knock the can over so it could escape.
