well like others have said unless you make your own, saying that i use to run a a small 15-20Liter still though got out of the hobby quite a few years ago. 6+ months ago picked up a small air still aka “water distiller” im pretty happy with it especially considering when playing around trying different recipes you can make small 7 liter batches that takes two runs to strip down which is quick and makes a pretty decent product, and bonus no cooling water to deal with.

this i great news. The one I’m looking into will be about $100 and supports 4L.

yeah likely the same as the one i have, mine you can select temp it isnt needed though been using it as more or less a indicator , like once i found out the percentages that get pushed out at the tail end of the run and how that corresponded to specific setpoint temp wise with me playing around now i just punch in that temp and when it auto shuts off twice im usally at that point where further extraction on at least a stripping run isnt needed.

Just look for “water distiller” on your standard online buying options

mine though i cut off the plastic cover for the condenser tube for my own reasons, no need to though.

The stuff available in BC is the weak shit, I had to get the 190 proof in Alberta.

Haha, this is a little embarrassing but I got confused with the everclear conversation and thought you guys had some sort of distiller I could make grain alcohol with…possibly with water……I’m really high

When I googled it as suggested, I saw what it was and felt dumb.

I have one of those lol. Haven’t used it in years! I made my own and haven’t looked back. The One I made is not as pretty but it’s way more functional

… yes if one put in say a low wine 10% sugar wash you would extract said alcohol, or say if you had a grain mash same thing.

Which is exactly what i do… unless i need distilled water then well…
