The Central American landrace and heirloom thread (Part 1)

That looks like the good one! Certainly leaning heavy to the sativa side! Where is the Colombian gold from again? Will you be cloning this one?

The oaxacan plants are recovering from the repeated neem sprayings. No sign of mites. I think I got rid of the little bastards. Time to bring in the Panama. Heres the Oaxacan. .

Its getting tough to get his seeds in the USA. Iā€™m not happy with the way things areā€¦I wonā€™t go into detail but itā€™s some messed up Bā€™s.

Very cool!
Thanks for the photos
Another friend ran them outside and found they struggled but he has some world of seeds Columbian that did well. The WOS was a hybrid and produced more and was developed a terpene that repelled grasshoppers after the fourth generation outdoors in Oklahoma.
We are crossing the strains.

Very cool! A very useful trait. A reason why backpeddling to landrace genetics is so valuable. The best way to beat pests is to grow resistant varieties with unique terpene profiles, and a quick way to do that is to use stable landrace plants( stable in their pest resistance/ terpene profile) that have these qualities in your breeding programs.

These Girls are settling into the Solo cups nicely and starting to take off. Iā€™ll have one of each ready for a topping from 6 back to 4 by the end of the weeks feeding. I decided to run in two batches so I can collect pollen from first batch males and have a stagger in case I wanna make some seeds.

Need to get some new bulbs in and clean tubes and hoods before this run goes into flower so they have a good chance indoors. How many days would you say on those CG 72ā€™? The Zachesteca are heads above the rest and Iā€™m almost hoping the Sativa heavy CG is a male so I can spread the pollen aroundā€¦

Looking good instig8tor. Iā€™m hoping those Colombian Goldā€™s go a long long time. I donā€™t know anybody thatā€™s actually smoked anything Colombian recently. It will be nice to get a smoke report. I thought that Colombian gold 72 went more like four months. Just in time for the 4th of July LOL! Who are the Zacatecas tribute from? What Company I meanā€¦
