The Central American landrace and heirloom thread (Part 1)

That plant was started under native light regime? Are you taking notes? I’m extremely curious about what will happen. Keep us posted. How long has it been growing?

My little landrace Bahia from @Abbbian isn’t doing to well…five weeks old…I need to get some green in the grow…I did give some cal/mag in the re-pot …but I’m wary Sativas don’t like nutes.

Suggestions welcome…

What kind of soil? Same as for DP? Looks happy now on the top of the plant. It likes the recent treatment.

Ye same soil…you probably correct…it was re-potted 10 days ago…and I just noticed like you the new growth seems ok…

I will give it couple of weeks in veg room…hopefully it be healthier for the flip.

Guerrero’s sativas certainly for those who know, are easy to identify from other Mexicans: large plants, not as large as the Oaxacan ones, very serrated leaflets, and the aromas of the tails are wood-type aromas, very complex, rather earthy and with very cerebral highs
Here a original colita de “caca de chango” the most famous weed in Guerrero. The photo is from a friend of mine who knows some farmers from the Mountains.

Twitter Spaces is the fastest way to do that. One sets up the Twitter space and sends a reminder to the crew and… voila!

I’m interested in the idea but you guys have far more sativa knowledge than I do.

The next step is figuring out a day and time that at least 4 of us can agree to meet for at least 30 minutes, once per week. Then, the rest is easy.

Wow! I had no idea buds like that could come from a Mexican Sativa. Massive! Monkey poop is a great name and with buds like that and a great high I see why it’s famous. I’m beginning to see a common theme with Guerrero strains too🤣. We’ve got Monkey poop and goat poop…what else? Someone has a good sense of humor lol. No El caca de Toro buds?
@Panamajock I’m up for discord or other sometime once I have a better grasp on the genetics from this region. There is a lot to learn and I don’t even know enough to ask good questions yet. It would be a short conversation now.
@RoryBorealis that’s a good thought. Multiple short sessions…

Does @Elchischas speak English or can we translate?

@Panamajock We should also consider the people in areas that are a security risk. SOLUTION: Buy a cheap burner phone, or buy a used phone(not yours). Create a new Twitter account, use Wifi or have a cheap prepaid phone plan. This will help to remain stealth.

@Upstate We can pick a region for each week, that we will mention here first. That will allow everyone to pick a question or research a particular subregion. Heck, we can even discuss other regions regarding terroir, rainfall elevation and etc, for comparison. Ie: Colombian highlands vs Thai highlands. This can be educational and lots of fun.
