The Cinderella 99 story. A FAQ from a friend close to the Bros about 20 years ago

@StocktonT

I could be wrong, but I think I read your conversation about C99 from Therealseedco/Kwik somewhere.
Have you grown them yet?
I have two packages, many seeds from OG… and I don’t have a lot of space

not yet, but I have given out about 20-30 of them and maybe soon, like next week, I will go see one of the dudes, maybe I get to smoke some and can tell you my thoughts. I still have a few in my stash for indoors in the cold too. Curious about them… have a pack of Princess 88 from FDM and a few other C99 versions to try along side as well…

thanks, my thoughts exactly, didn’t mean to come off harsh at all towards you so if I did please know I did with a big smile and a friendly idea even if it didn’t sound like it

Anybody notice how many healthy big fan leaves I have come harvest? Look at my avatar! You mother pluckers just don’t understand what makes a plant tick, tending to fall for ill advised forum paradigms that just won’t die. “You need light to get to da buds, so you must pull the fan leaves come 42.678 days into flowering” :smile:

With each new crop of noobies, ugggg.

End of my random scold for the day. :rofl:

If you have plenty of fan leaves at lower levels come harvest then you’re hereby awarded the Uncle Ben Gold Award for having common botanical sense. :sunglasses:

Hahaha I red that long ago and found it true, actually you wrot it that time too. I agree, leaf is of vital importance to the plant, never understood why - if not for any other problem - one would deprive the plant its solar pannels and also if one fudge up they are also kind of like a lifeline.

Here to learn!! What is the primary “loss” experienced by trimming fan leaves? I mean I have my answers ready and agree but lets do this!

Loss of photosynthesis.

I meant like, in terms of final harvest.

Photosynthesis is one of the primary means by which your plants generate energy to grow. Loss of photosynthesis capability = less energy generated = lesser growth and slower development = less production.

Yield is dependent on photoynthesis. Remove the factory and you will experience a loss compared to letting nature take its course.
