The Clone Conservatory

@Principante8 thats what Carson from DHN said

Cool dude, thank for sharing. The more info that is made public and easily accessible the better. Having these conversations here will hopefully help to save someone’s butt big time in the future. Hopefully your new crop does well.

Unfortunately I found a few more plants in my garden that had the viroid. I think maybe 4-5 more. I’m going to leave them and photograph them at harvest time in about a month.

@Principante8 would I be able to tell if these seedlings I planted in this new soil from the bin that I didn’t wipe down with bleach would have hlv. Should I keep them separate? Should I still use that soil or get rid of it , wipe w bleach, and start over on those seeds?

I decided I need to start over those 6 seeds. It’s only 6 seeds. Only cost me $120 and i have to throw out the soil in the tub and clean the tub with bleach and start over on those 6 sadly. These seeds I fucked off is the same strain I went to the clone conservatory to get and got fakes with hlv from, I bought these seeds from OJD over in the UK. Strain: Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze s1. This is the second time now. I just really want this strain in my garden. I feel cursed by the clone conservatory:( @Principante8

I talked to Nate from Prima Clones and he said I have to spray with bleach and let it be for 10 minutes to effectively kill hlv. Or I can use https://gardnclean.com/ Garden Clean and it would kill it on contact immediately @Principante8

I wouldn’t mix bleach and alcohol, apparently you can make chloroform that way, which is very toxic.

I checked and it would seem you are correct and will discontinue doing that. Just plain bleach water mixture. The things you learn on a grow forum

Don’t ever mix it with ammonia either , I’d avoiding mixing anything with bleach as it can be highly reactive, I don’t like the stuff myself.

When I woke up this morning, I definitely wasn’t expecting to learn a recipe for homemade chloroform… just one of those days.

Does this rag smell like chloroform to you? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

On the cover of my washer, where they give you washing advice it says to make a paste of bleach and ammonia for stubborn strains! What the actual Fuck?

Yeah no mustard gas in the washer for me.
Also if you mix it with hydrogen peroxide it can explode.

I found pics of The Clone Conservatory’s clones I got of “Super Sour Diesel” and as you can see they’re all the same strain but all look different because they’re in different stages of hop latent

@Principante8 i want to see your garden pics of your clone conservatory hlv current run, please spam with pics of them, and in the end, let’s see the bud

simply mixing bleach (sodium hypochlorite) and alcohol (assuming ethanol) will not make chloroform (CHCl3) rather a mix of acids and other dangerous chemicals. Just a PSA in case someone was trying to get their hands on chloroform for some reason.

However Acetone and Bleach do indeed make Chloroform. But you would have to separate, dry, distill. etc to get to chloroform of a relative purity.
(don’t go just adding acetone to bleach willy nilly. it will Boil very quickly and release clouds of chloroform gas into the air)

Anybody got any recommendations on legit places to acquire good clones? and verified clone only cuts?

I purchased from the clone conservatory before seeing this thread so was a little worried after seeing it, but after finishing my grow I have to agree with Qtip. It just seems like a few accounts bumping the thread for negative reasons.

Here’s a pic of the best one in my grow and I had no issue with the process or plants from start to finish. Hope this helps someone on the fence about them.

the only thing about clones is - one should have a separte room for them to see if they are infested, ect - for about 1 week then put into your population. here are a few others: Clone Cellar.com - Weedguardain Familytree.com and Neptune Seed Bank - have seen clones go for $25.00 to $5,000. Also it leagl to send clones thru mail - seeds also - If you go to clone cellar they inform you why thery are legal something to due with THC under.03 under some agriculture law . FYI for all those whom thought it’s a crime to send clones and seeds thru mail

Sending them yes but selling is still a issue, I guess it depends on the state and county but California requires a permit for anything cannabis related whether hemp or drug type and your ability to get a permit depends on your county, also most counties in California that do allow it have already maxed out on how many permits they are going to issue.
It seems if I ever want to have a permitted clone and seed nursery I will have to move out of state to do so.
Oregon is sounding better every day.
California has its head so far up its own butt the police and politicians are more worried about micro managing/harassing tax paying citizens then doing anything about the thousands of drug addicted homeless roaming around robbing innocent people and making areas that were once nice into third world slums.
California is one of the largest economies in the world but we have the largest homeless population in the country and are infrastructure is crumbling. Seems the people in charge don’t care or are incapable of making choices that benefit anybody besides there elitist friends and the corporations who pat there backs and line there pockets.
People need to stop buying things from companies who use the money to destroy humanity in the name of profits.
