The Gauntlet 2023

Bummer to hear that  Hopefully she’s not doing worse?

pH and TDS is a shallower rabbit hole than organic, so you got that going for you. Meters and numbers is more my thing, maybe I shoulda gone the hydro route.

Probably shouldn’t have said it’s shallower, it’s no less complicated. But jeeeeeezus did I feel out of my element a week or two ago, definitely had me thinking I had bit off more than I could chew with that organic thing

Had actually thought about abandoning my dirt about 2 weeks ago, and filling up my car with bags of Roots/Fox Farm. Still hoping things work out for me and my soil. I think we’ve rounded the corner :sunglasses:

Here is she it. She has new growth.

Something is off.
Before I put her outside in the 30. She looked like this top left.

This is the pot the Indiana Bubblegum was in that I harvested Oct 19th. @FieldEffect

I wonder if its salt build up from last Oct? is that possible? I didn’t flush any of them very well last Tuesday when I transplanted.

i was told that when the leaves have that taco effect folding up. that is because it lacks calcium. if you have any cal/mag that may help.

I’m going to feed and water them this evening. I will give her a good shot of Cal Mag. :sunglasses:

pot plants have a lot of their functions / feed / growth etc, that require available calcium in order to take place. that why it is a common problem because without it, the good shit can’t happen, so the bad shit happens. lol
i just dig the hell out of seeing that mushroom in the pot!

oh just saw the other pic, she might have just got some sun burn? the faded edges. but also looks to have the taco effect to.

It doesn’t look like Ca deficiency to me but I’ve never seen it in real life. Book symptoms look more like root issues or heat stress to me.

Main reason I say that is I’d expect subtler signs like spotting from Ca deficiency before full blown taco leaves.

Just my input on the matter, hopefully someone else can chime in that knows for sure.

Maybe cat pee N tox? Doesn’t look like the pics I’ve seen of that. Buckled in over here with OG on the case

I think I may have been to rough with her when I potted her in the 30 “I know I was rough” Pushed on her root ball when seating her. Maybe its that and its been a hot week of first transplant. The others are moving along fine. She is in coco it won’t hurt to give her a good shot of Cal mag tonight. I’m going to try that and up her nutrients a lil. Been mico dosing nutrients. Last feeding was last Friday.

Yea it does look like a unhappy rootzone, it is putting out new growth thou. Could it be possible you added to much of something during mixing of coco for that plant. Too much lime or something?
