I’ve been in touch with a few older members trying to get them to come back. Orgnkid was a legend releasing his tangerine, banana and of course the ghost cut. He is still around and projecting on some new and some old lines. Hopefully we see him release some things soon. I’d recomend being at the 2020 emerald cup… @BogSeeds i met you at the 2017 emerald cup it was a chaotic swarm but was happy to see so many people from the past able to openly be part of the community. Shabang was a true legend and I hope he is well and smoking some dank where ever he may be. So many people got there start on the original site. It feels like yesterday but it’s about to be 2020. Gona have 420 on 20202, 4202020 yeah buddy

hey there speaking bog i am growing out one of his strains called blue kush right now … have a thread in grow diaries if you want to check it out … had a very large thread on the old og about greenhouse growing … miss all the people who made it fun !!! mostly i hung out with the old farts… they all taught me so much and because of that i was able to switch over to indoor growing without much of a hitch …hugs

Sorry to hear things went down before it got published… i got lucky, George chose my C-13 Cabinet grow for the Overgrow section in HT, got it published before OG Died. I still have the mag …

anyone remember the grower who did the pistilwhip method of pruning to grow massive donkey dick buds lol transformed the way i grew forever

no but i wish i had since growing big kolas was my thing back in the day …can you describe this way of pruning? although i am not into that now i did manage to get one to go 24 inches with no side branching …

ok the general gist of it was to keep all branching to a minimum, long and short is basically to cut all branching below the top three nodes for the first two weeks of flower, branches only NOT fan leaves, the plant then wastes no energy on popcorn and concentrates the yield to the top cola, i used to grow some serious donkey dicks like this and would regularly grow buds literally as long as my arm, had a positive effect on yield quality and quantity as the total yield was probably similar but was much easier to trim and better quality buds, also i must point out that it was a sog method mainly but works just as effectively regardless of grow style, literally all branches below the top three nodes

I missed that a few months ago there. That’s quite a trick. I’ve just started a few SOG style plants here, I think I’ll try it on one FOR SCIENCE haha
So just to be clear I’m going to remove all branches below the top 3 nodes (leaving fan leaves) until day 14 of flower? Then just let them do their thing for the rest of flowering?
It seems crazy…since stretch is pretty much over then don’t you just end up with stubby 3 node buds at the end of each branch?
Do you have any pics of plants you did like this? Really curious how they’d look…

Both from there first releases I believe
Juliet had c99 mom and was everyone’s preference psychedelic like high many said
Romeo was NYCD female and was a big yielder outdoors for me
