Looking the other two plants over now. Should I just chop them all and harvest while I can

And take the risk of possibly smoking mold?

Yea I didn’t think so. Wouldn’t want to risk myself or my friends. This is a 3gaL bucket :sob::sob:

Shut down the bloom for now.

You’re thinking not enough air flow?

The fan that’s in there gets all the branches some air movement, it could use more. But it’s just Too humid in the room. It’s in a bedroom that is closed, so the air in the whole room gets warm and humid… I definitely need a dehumidifier since I can’t just vent it into the rest of the house. I don’t have the option of venting it outside or it’ll suck all the heat out of the room/house.
This is a huge setback, this would of lasted my friends and I till next harvest.

Wow, dehumidifiers are not cheap… should I be getting one that holds as much water as I use on the plants every day?

Add more air movement :dash:

Those moldy bastards attack during lights off when plants transpire more (gets more humid).

Yea I only recently read that the exhaust fan needs to be left on for a while after the lights turn off, or left running if possible. I have one fan blowing at the level of the plants that is left one 24hrs, but I know I should have at least one more. After the dehumidifier, and another set of lights for the veg shelf, the next thing is to replace the exhaust fan to something that’s quieter. Granted the loudest part prob is the air blowing through the tubing, but the fan is noticeable in itself. Plus it isn’t variable speed.

My heart goes out to you @Seamonkey84 . I am on my first indoor grow in many years as well. Working on getting my temps and RH dialed in. Definitely need to spend a little money to achieve that. All about lessons learned, don’t wish the tuition to be that kind of loss for any of us though. Don’t let this deter you Seamonkey!!!

Thank you.
I have 17 in veg “ready” to go in, plus 3 clones that can go any time. It’s just a big set back and another 8ish week.

What a bummer @Seamonkey84

Even in wussy Cali weather, PM will kick my ass if I let RH get out of control. Gotta have my dehuey.

No worries. 2020 almost over. Lol. 2021 your grows will be problem free!

@Seamonkey84 - I feel for ya - been there myself. I lost an entire outdoor crop (including some buds the size of 5 gallon buckets) to bud rot and mold, and though it may be tempting to try to salvage, it is best to just toss it and chalk it up as a valuable lesson learned. As you said, you are poised in your veg tent and only 8 weeks away from another harvest.
