Threes a crowd

Alright. Crisis averted. Ph’d up to 5.95. I’m happy with that. I don’t want to play the back and forth game over 0.05.

Also new phone came in the mail the other day. Properly functioning camera is back in action.

Tomorrow’s mission: get the rooms temp up to 80 and get RH up from 29%

So everything looks to be going pretty well. They’re working on pushing out their 3rd set of true leaves. Not bad for a week after sprouting.

I did notice a little crispiness to the tip of that first leaf which lead me to check my ec. It was a little high when I mixed up at 1450 but it has now jumped to 1700 for some reason. Can I correct that by maybe just dumping another full gallon of distilled water into the res or should I completely trash this mix up and start over?

Temp and humidity seem to be working themselves out as the weather changes. Temps up to 80 and humidity is up to 45%. Root mass is finally big enough to dangle in the flood zone so the days of hand watering are over.

Oops. I found the couple who’s roots aren’t dipped in the water yet.

These other, hopefully, ladies are looking pretty okay

Is this anything to be worried about? Looks like early potassium deficiency maybe. I gotta check the days but I think I’m about due for a reservoir change here in a few days.

Decided to cull the weaklings of the pack.

-3 Copa
-2 Tony Green

Culled for slow grow or being a straight weirdo.

Stand out of the group so far are 2 of the Tony Green RIL and one of the Copa Fast Purple. What’s Interesting is all of these prolific growers are in the outside corner pots. Not sure what’s going on with that.

I find that quite often, the outliers always outperform, I used to think my par/lux was way too high but after playing around it’s not the case, just seems the diluted light is more favourable at this stage. Btw I love your little ebb and flow set up, awesome! That’s definitely sad numbers though after germination, if you are finding you are breaking the taps when transplanting I would do it earlier. I personally transplant really late, (I usually wait until they shed the shell) I’ve had friends who just seem to kill like 75% EVERYTIME when doing this (perhaps I’m just way more gentle) idk . Regardless I’m here to watch the show now, just wish I found it earlier. Salute

@TopShelfTrees1 Glad to have you here. That’s interesting that you bring that up about the light intensity. There are 3 led shop lights above them. One for each row. I thought they were pretty well lined up but the front and back are offset from the lights. So I’m sure all 3 lights were blasting down on that middle row. I haven’t plucked out any of the poor performers yet but I did cut off that center light in a last ditch effort to maybe save that center row.

It’s a monumentous occasion. I was getting ready to do a res swap and what do you know? These little buggers have outgrown their little 5 x 5 pots and are ready for the big time. I was hoping to have them sexed before moving them but oh well.

Sweet! Time for the big show? Are you running RDWC bro?

Nope. Just running regular ass ebb n flow buckets. 3 gallons. I think I’m gonna take 11 of these possible ladies with me. Middle row, second column did a weird summersault on its way out of the rooter and has a loop in it’s stalk. It’s struggling to get any height on it but she’s coming, too. I’ve heard of RDWC but never really looked into it. Is it different than ebb n flow? The set ups kinda look similar.
