That viruses are little fu**** that float around until…they find a perfect host… they then insert their genetic code and “infect” their host usually bacteria or living organism cells… kinda cool and creepy at the same time.

My favorite corn meal is not sold at any of the local supermarkets. I ordered Indian Head yellow stone ground corn meal at ridiculous price of $10+ for 2 lb bag. It makes the best cornbread using butter, lard or bacon grease. Its the only corn meal that I have used for crackling bread and turkey stuffing. Jiffy Mix is just not the same result.

 if one of the rubber feet goes missing to your aquarium pump, it will leak & become much louder. :loudspeaker: :hear_no_evil: i messed up my DWC project last month, mostly by messing with it too much, and mostly because the noise was bothering me :man_facepalming: :man_facepalming: :man_facepalming: and switched it up to a fountain/waterfall pump with squirters. and gave it the  somehow.

yeah.

Been reading in a recent article that some chemicals in the plant we all love can have have some insecticidal properties to it , may just have to experiment with this and start making some bug repellent

People round here already give me a funny look of i smell of it, I’m not sure how pot deodorant would go down!

To keep in line with the topic T I L that space blankets are see through when I went to put one up as a reflective surface in my grow box. I wonder if they absorb much usable light to make it worth using them or if i should just buy some paint.

Lol that’s funny ! I should of clarified better the article was aiming at using it a a decoction in a spray that you could spray your plants with to keep pests/ bugs away.

Not sure if the actual stats but I was thinking that Mylar was better than 90% when reflecting Light others would know better than I perhaps @Mr.Sparkle or anyone that might have small grow cabs.

true or high quality mylar doesn’t allow light to pass through and has a high reflective rate, space blankets even though also mylar are just a lower and thinner grade don’t have as high as a reflective value but are still pretty decent.

But flat white paint, to spaceblankets, to real mylar, to even aluminum foil “shiny side out” like i use are all better alternatives that running without it.

TIL Rhizophagus Irregularus got its name, not because the bacteria eat roots, but because the roots eat the bacterium.
