Hi Tiny, sorry it took so long to make it by your thread. Very cool stuff and I’ll have to go back and catch up the rest. I see you grow hops. I used to grow them, too. I’m going to give them a try out here as I know they do good as long as you can water them. That’s the advantage of having them near the house. I had mine growing up and over a patio. I miss them. I have to get up with you sometime and pick your brain. Who did you get your rhizomes from. I think I always used Freshops. Anyway, beautiful thumbing bro. Lots of nice looking plant life at your crib. peace

Thanks for the kind words and stopping in, years ago I had bought them in a home brew store two or three little rhizomes call around home brew stores early in the spring to see if they carry I still have my original plant has to be close to 10 years now still doing good from year to year … even the starts I did in the back 4x4 bed this year did better than I expected !

Yeah, those hops are like comfrey or even cannabis, that way. They really thrive. A small piece of root in the spring will grow a hop vine.

I used to homebrew, too. I have most of my things with me now but need to get it all sorted out. I’d like to get a batch going again sometime soon. Do you remember which variety hops yours is? I grew Cascade and Nugget. I had a couple of others but forget which. Those two are suppose to be the easiest to grow in the most places. man, did they do good…

Well doesn’t look like be getting them to the size of Pringle cans this year… going to blame it on early season snow storms! “That’s my story and I’m sticking to it” How about we call them toilet paper roll size. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Looking great man. What strain was that first pic?

Tell me you’re not getting forecasts of snow. I saw where Montana was getting a feet producing storm over much of the whole state.

I saw where we go into the low 70’s this next 10 days and lows in the low 40’s which means high thirties for me. I am not ready for winter weather. Yowza…

Hope they all make it okay. Looks like a few of my plants. One is all black and purple and a few others getting purple upper leaves or bud calyx tips like yours. peace
