Tirah Valley, Pakistan Landrace grow

Oh man. I found my Pistachio pot! @LandraceWarden it smells like nuts and orange peels but mostly pistachio. Never smelled a plant like this one. It wasn’t my favorite plant before, but its gaining lol. Still loving miss big leaves and the Peshawar pheno most. All the plants are stinky now, but “Miss Pistachio” takes the cake at this time. She has pinky nail sized flowers that already reek. Such a strong nut smell. I love it. Long time mission accomplished finding that plant. Hoping shes a good one!

Look at miss big leaves. Her head looks so tiny lol.Plants will.be in full flower mode soon. Throwing out side branches that surely would grow with better light or pruning. Smells getting stronger.
I know i should pull off at least some lower fan leaves but not sure i can force myself. They are too pretty. What do you all do?

Oh man, that sounds incredible!
It will probably be next fall before I can run my Tirah, but I’m excited about the smells! Thanks for all the pics and details!

In theory, fan leaves not under the light not only do not produce energy but steal it from the plant for their own maintenance, trimming them and lower branches also help with aeration and avoiding mould.

I agree they sure look pretty :kissing_heart:, not an easy decision to take, anyway in case of doing it some days before flipping it’s the best moment … beer3|nullxnull

@George You’re right. Pruning or leaf removal should have been done a while back to avoid mold and help yield/ branching, but i need to know if these can handle humidity and moisture too. At least some phenos should be resistant. Maybe here and there I’ll lose a few leaves. Next time i will prune.
@HumblePie420 pie you mean just fold them out of the way? I could do that.

Yes, that way they can still contribute to photosynthesis but also be tucked underneath buds, etc. Learned it on Instagram from a breeder.

That’s not a bad idea. Always liked the idea of a canna cigar. Eating a few leaves is supposed to work well for inflammation too. One leaf might work in this case lol.

Highly domesticated variant and an exact of what people prefer of something coming out of a Hindu Kush place and thats what I did my selections for. As for your preference, the illaqai Nasal, those are on your way as well for you to test those precious gems in the native challenging weather.

@LandraceWarden I’m really enjoying the change of pace growing this amalgamated Tirah. They are beautiful stinky plants. But I’d be a liar if i told you The Illaqai Nasal wasn’t calling me in the distance. " Grooooow me Upstate…pleeeeeease groooow me".:grin:
I’ll be getting into that one promptly upon arrival, tearing at the package like a kid at a birthday party ripping at a wrapping paper. My friend @ShivamGrover told me about this one a few years ago. At first I wanted to grow it for him. Now i want to grow it for me too😃

I know it’s raw, and I know it’s just the leaves, but I swear I feel super calm during the whole morning on days when I blended them up.
Great shits too (tmi)… like an internal colon scrub!

That’s entirely believable. Many societies on Earth make cannabis leaves a regular part of their diet. Excellent defense against intestinal parasites( pygmies use it and have the lowest rate of intestinal parasites amongst any indigenous community on Earth) and leaves are high in vitamins and minerals…Used as toothache medication in Malawi.
The fiber is a bonus…er a… sort of.
