Huge plants.
How they are by the taste?
Nice shots bud
The Pakistan are a vigorous sativa or are hybrid ?
Apologize me if i miss something
I couldnāt taste it, as I was in hurry to somewhere as it wasnāt a hunting landrace trip but I ended up with this plant, the smell is quite refreshing piney, sweet and lemony. It was also Hermed so no seeds too. Haha sorry but itās something I would explore in upcoming season.
its a primordial landrace, the structure is quite NLD and Sativa leaning.
definitely not a hybrid
Yeah sheās beautiful! Could be the best plant. Hard to tell with these. They are all nice in their own way. I see 3 different lines that could be separated out.
All sorts of good smells in these plants. Theyāre smelly very early on, but mid flower the later phenos really pick up the smell. The purple plant and miss big leaves are right up there with Miss Pistachio in smell power now. They are both more the sweet perfume type. Exotic flowers smell, maybe. Intoxicating smell. I love it.
Miss Pistachio is nutty with a gassy/musky/ orange undertone. If you touch her the whole room stinks and on your hand the smell lasts a long time. You know the type. Walking around like some weirdo with your finger stuck under your nose for 15 minutes type. Her smell developed the earliest of all of them. She and 1 other short plant really show the Highland kush ancestry. Both have an Orange facet to the smell and both smell dank. Buds are going to be real solid.
Miss Late to dinner and miss big leaves fall in the middle of the indica/sativa spectrum with enough stretch for a very long top cola. There is branching potential with more room for each plant or topped.
The two sativa phenos have more branching than the others and buds are spaced out more, leaves a little thinner.
Thatās great to hear! Itās a special strain. I canāt wait to compare it to Ilaqai Nasal.
Those are some really unique primordial plants you found there in Peshawar. Really neat colors.
Were you in the city itself?
This Pakistani strain is Tirah Valley, amalgamated version. The amalgamated ( blended) landrace is a mixture of many South Asian strains spanning many countries. Basically they have done something similar to what modern western breeders do, mixing up various related strains for a super effect, but they have done it on a massive scale, and then made an heirloom of it and eventually it potentially became a landrace in its own right. Iām honestly not sure how long ago this was done. Over 100 years old in my book its a landrace.
There is also an old Sativa, Illaqai Nasal, brought from India to Tirah Valley 600 years ago according to oral traditions, and grown almost exclusively by the Afridi tribe. At the beginning of the thread, I thought I was growing that one which likely confused some people. I should go back and edit.
Once these current Tirah are done, I wouldnāt be surprised if some Illaqai Nasal seedlings appear out of thin air.
Good
Im hear about landraces and i dont know about efects.
But definitely its a good nice one.
Pakistan have some nice cannabis tradition
Peshawar Agriculture university
Man these look killer
The short kush pheno is straight burned rubber. Pretty neat. Read about it but always wanted to smell it for myself.
Miss Big leaves is turning purple. Every 4th or 5th calyx is purple so far. Just started. Resin and a dank smell are coming on strong now.
Miss Pistachio is really resinous. Strong plant! I nearly picked a bud but stopped myself lol.
Huge seeds crossed with Peshawar
Miss Big Leaves pictured. I took off most of the fan leaves
The different aromas sound extremely inciting brother! I believe itās a good thing that they have some diversity.
Mrs pistachio sounds like a nice pheno for sure, really interested in these different strains you are rocking, sounds like you are having a blast growing them
Nice varied smell to these, yet they are common to this variety. I have smelled many of the reported smells found in Tirah in just these few plants.
Gas/ fuel/ , oranges, nuts, a sweet smell. Many Iām forgetting I read of or smelled.
Iām like a kid in a candy store growing theseā¦and I do have a blast. Part of the reason is the fact that I read so much and look at so many pictures of big fields of cannabis, itās s nice to have a tiny corner of one of those " fields" under my own supervisionš
They are exciting to growā¦ and then smoke!
I think Iād be tempted to snip some tester buds see how they smoke .
Miss late for dinner is also turning purple now. 2 purple plantsš
I was gifted some buds yesterday. One called rainbow and the other gelato. I smoked the one called rainbow yesterday and damn if it doesnāt taste exactly like the 2 purple plants smell. This Landrace has been used a lot in breeding And itās quite possible that this is the Variety Responsible for the sweet tasting modern weed in some instances. I have noticed the same Taste or smell in several different modern varieties Over the years.
I know itās Not the proper thread, but Oaxaca blows the doors off of the rainbow And was the only gold found at the end of that rainbow lol. I needed something to get me highš¤£
Iām tempted myself! If they were bigger ,Iād be getting into them for sure. Still a couple weeks left for the fastest one. Miss pistachio Is the furthest along, with the burnt rubber pheno right behind.
Been smoking your tirah?
