Tirah Valley, Pakistan Landrace grow

Dunno which year your seeds are from, but it might be the other way around also. That AK is in the tirah. A lot of Dutch seeds made it to Afghanistan in the beginning of 00 and was bred into their heirloom cultivars to increase strength and yeild of their hashish. Just a food for thought

@LandraceWarden will know the answer.

These are pakistani
Personally I think it is much more likely. That the terpene profile of a landrace was preserved in a hybrid rather than the hybrids terpene profile being preserved intact amongst the landrace. Seems like that ak profile would have been swallowed amongst the fields

Looking forward for it :+1:t2:
Yeah, my thought is that since Afghanistan had this influx of Dutch seeds, Pakistan would also have had the same ā€œproblemā€ during the same era.

what is your source of data that Afg and Pak has an influx of Dutch genetics?

Arjan and his buddies traveled around and traded bags of seed before, under and after Strain Hunters.

There is no evidence of them coming to Pakistan and Afghanistan.
so its not solid reason.

I respect your point of view, but I see things differently.

I donā€™t see that they ever went to afghanistan. They talked about it in 2013, but because of the war, could not go.
I donā€™t see that they ever went to pakistan either.
Of course that doesnā€™t rule out the possibility that an american soldier or more than one soldier passed out seeds, and I am sure that could have happened in Afghanistan.
After my chats with @LandraceWarden I would feel sorry for the next person that tries To pass out western seedsšŸ˜

Do you know of any cases of Western strains being grown in the fields in either Afghanistan or Pakistan?
Arjan of Greenhouse seeds is a braggart, full of himself. I never underestimate the ability of this guy to screw up genepools so that he is the only one with the pure originals.

sounds about right he is the definition of a chad. Ripping other people genetics off hes like the monsanto of the cannabis sector

yup since you have educated me, I am not going to entertain this guy, NEVER!

Yeah, this is my thinking. Iā€™ve heard sooooooo many horror stories from him and his gang over the years. How they almost destroyed the original Moroccan landraces by overflowing the locals with Dutch seeds which was promised to increase yeilds and quality. It did the oppositeā€¦

He probably gave them seeds made indoors.

another thing which i saw from them is that they took the seeds from regions hybridised them and sell them back to those regions. crazy!

Yup. Screw Arjan. His good friend Simon was a gem of a person, but he has died in the pursuit of a Congolese strain reported to cure Malaria. Oddly, he died from Malaria. Simon is all about the dollar.

He screwed up many genepools, for sure, but the Moroccan Beldia( ganja strain) genepool was damaged long before Arjan. In the 80ā€™s Pakistani genetics were heavily introduced. Itā€™s 95% polluted today.
Originally quality increased, and yield increased, but as the hybrid vigor wore off, and selections of potent plants stopped, quality went downhill.
