interesting, thanks for your engagement, thanks. i also felt that the green-nes is actually superb. but cant say in 3 days it may look different

Are the roots ok?

the grower always mentioned the roots since a while, he said he believed they are getting to cold, (logically cause this dizzy grower grows it outside in a garage or tent i believe) . but he mentioned his concerns for roots

and looking at the new pic it fels like they infact look not too good, cause theyre so little.

this was the pic loong ago, i mean where have the roots gone:

synergetic genetics said he gives it a 5 percent chance for sucessful tissue culture

Well that’s good news I guess :yum:
Personally I’d stick it in a light soil mix and keep it moist, not wet, (a few sprays a day) under a 100w lamp and constant environment. Warm and cozy and pray for it do live another month…
Tea or kelp is probably the best for now…

For the tissue culture thing, synergy genetics is the unanimous go-to guy, I would trust his opinion :ok_hand:

It’s in pretty rough shape for a tc…

i have to say, he has often told me his Wishful thoughts instead of "high visionns " imho . so im not shure about this statement. (sorry growlege)

Maybe, can’t say for sure…
All I know is when I read about tissue culture it seemed to be a very capricious method with lots of headaches lol

Gimme a sec, I’ll tag a few people for more opinions…

I have seen @JoeCrowe clone a stem smaller than that, so it is possible.

Wait, he rooted a stripped branch?

What strain is it?

Yes after he drowned it for 30 minutes, his 0 protocol procedure. It’s documented in the Advanced Techniques section. Maybe he will weigh-in.

this grower had it in a garafge or greenouse in california. i told him its cold…

So, looking at the earlyes pic with the nice healthy leafes i posted before, i think probably the cold temps added to the hefty lifechallenge of revegging.

im listening to synergetic-genetics, he too tends to keep it rather than tissue culturing. He mentioned bacteria or fungi might caused this dying of leafes.

So, there is chance it can regrow now. And i think thats what we will do, we just continue to grow this stem.

What is clear that we need warm, and 24 hours light.
thanks @Mithridate for the exact tips.

if it was fungus or bacteria that cause this rapid dying, dont you think a dome is too wet?

Could be. Try without first :+1:

Ps: the dome was mostly to keep it from drying too fast aka put it on but leave the vents open. And taking the dome off daily to mist should allow to change the air

Also I wish you and your grower friend the best. Care and time can make it happen.

Ok Thats how he installed it now. :kissing_smiling_eyes:

He uses 4 bulbs t5, with an output of 200 Watt (fluorescent)

plus an additional Led, if i understood him right.

Is that too much Watt power?

lol, well just hope. he prepares the teas now… but ey,

i kinda think the 200 watt fluorescent is not too much. The Led is just in the same room, not super close to Plant.
