In cases like these it’s really the MODs I feel sorry for. We all know that there are some topics that will always result in Discourse. While I am sure they don’t want to prevent anyone from speaking their mind they are also responsible for making sure threads don’t turn into a shit show. Its got to be a tough road to hoe.
It is good for us to remember that their motivation is to keep OG a place for all to interact and share with each other. Many don’t feel comfortable seeing threads with people fighting and name calling. Those bad vibes have a ripple effect and spill out into all other areas on OG as well as create enemies among members.
There are countless places out in the world to speak about things so it seems like a small thing to not allow certain topics on a cultivation site. It really is in the communities best intrest IMO. Personally I am thankful for the gatekeepers, I feel they are key in keeping OG the amazing place it is.

Dang it, “DAWG” (@Mad), why you go and “show everybody up?” Look at the Knife Blade on that plant!!! All type of REGULAR members go day-to-day, just trying to document a Grow. Then, out of nowhere comes the “Professionales” to post their creations!!! Have pity on us “underlings”, post that in High Times, or something.

Nothing to do with politics… everything to do with 9000+ oil drills that aren’t moving because the oil companies make more money not drilling and jacking up prices by buying their own oil back… so …
Also, technically speaking, nothing of what you said has to have anything to do with politics… The economy is on the can because of a pandemic and gas prices show how dependant we are on fossil fuels and completely ignore other alternative solutions to it.
If we’re gonna speak and have opinions, let’s have evidence to support claims.
