Too early to harvest. Too late to finish!

So caterpillars are really nasty. If any of you have ever had them, and I know some of you have, they are straight awful. Just terrible. Oh man, it is hard to explain the amount of disappointment and sadness. Well, it is also part of the game so no big deal. Just deal.

You get it.

Seems too early to pull these, but too late due to devastation. Waiting any longer will only increase the yield loss. It has to be at about 1/3 right now from the looks of it. If waiting it out a couple days to let the trichs develop and cloud up a little more and turn a lil more amber, would be a lovely and I mean lovely option. Any takers?

I see a few ambers in there, but there are also some slight fox tailing happening. Would be better if the strain was known huh?

Thanks for any help!

Lot of glass is what I see. not as much cloud. Here’s the ones in the net. they are taking a beating. The net also keeps out the beneficials, at least that’s plausible.

thanks.

Not cool. Personally I would rather have less mature bud, than more premature bud. Unless ur going to use it all for extracts or something. I actually had caterpillars in my indoor grow one time, I guess a moth found its way in somehow? Good luck, hope everything turns out well for you.

Yeah, I should have said “way too early” and probably about 1/4 damage. Looking at it as a complete gain, which it is. Either way I will win, just not the entire pot.

How much can you lose? Is it better to have more mature bud or is it hard to get herb so yield is paramount? Whatever the call it is more than you had before and you did it yourself. :relaxed:

I’m going to have to wait and find out. It will be more of a – how much did I get – instead of a loss. I smoked some that got clipped earlier and although it doesn’t have any real effect, the flavor is nice. Spicy with grape like bubble gum flavor. I suck at describing flavors or naming them even.
