Hey everyone! Need a favor. Looking for a good Hindu Kush stock, in seed form for a fall project. I have blue cheese fems to trade for. Haven’t grown any out, but a friend got them from a friend in Michigan, that was a caregiver, and that’s what he was told they were. If anyone is willing to trade your 5, for 20 of mine, let me know, and thanks!
preferred region? are fems necessary? and stable, or with high genotypic variety? this should help for the rest of the group
Care to give me a breakdown on how region matters? And stable fems would be nice
I should have said areas, it can be found from multiple areas surrounding the Kush Mt region, excuse me. this matters if you want a particular area’s or anothers
i have a 3 pack of fems.
Im growing Nirvanas Fem Hindu Kush. It s a smaller plant but looks nice .
I’m pretty sure there are a few different strains called hindu kush and they are all different depending on who you got them from. They could be a pure landrace from the kush mt range, kush x skunk#1 and I think sensi seeds/neville hindu kush stock witch is northern lights crosses but I can’t remember the parents off head and probably a few others . What are you looking for in a plant ?
Mandala seeds Rishi kush
The real Hindu Kush is indica hybrid made by neville and is Kush 4 x NL2, also called kush x kush. Sensi seeds renamed this stock to Hindu Kush when they acquired all of nevilles work.
Hard to come by real Hindu Kush these days.

So a landrace grown between Afghanistan and Pakistan called “Hindu Killer” is just some hybrid indica.
Got it.
@GYOweed There probably is some sort of landrace that might be called Hindu Kush, but I’m 1000% sure that isn’t what the local farmers would call the cultivar. The term Hindu Kush in context to cannabis is coined by western cannabis enthusiasts. That would let me believe that a landrace with that name is only trying to piggyback on the “western” name.
Neville believed that both Northern Lights 2 and Kush 4 were of the “Hindu Kush-type”, giving the name to his cross “Kush x Kush”, it was this cultivar that Sensi renamed to Hindu Kush and made up a bogus story of how it’s a landrace from Hindu Kush Mountains.
Seed Bank 89
Sensi 91
Sensi 99, when they changed the text to trick the customer that it’s a landrace.

Fair enough. I guess the location can be named hindu kush and the cannabis named after something else by the locals.
How useful is phylos to find a landrace or heirloom…hindu kush phylos - Hledat Googlem
Hehe, yeah the cannabis industry is definitely deceptive towards it’s customers. Everything is tilted to today’s thad.
As far as Phylos goes, I don’t trust it a lot. People’s S1s coming back as being the same, mothers as not related and so on… The examples are plenty.
