That’s the beauty of the internet - a continuous Rorschach test. I see tacoing margins on the leaves which are consistent with the leaf width of the others in the picture.
I’m going to attempt to get through this whole thread tonight but as I understand it the issue is :
FarmerJoe used to sell a “legit” version of TK that you and Holy are holding.
FarmerJoe lost his cutting and replaced it with an S1 that is identical to the “real” cutting, only discernable by 6 or 7 fingered leaves.
Holy posted a picture of his “legit” cutting throwing 7 fingered leaves.
Occam’s Razor might lead one to believe it’s likely the same cut that FJ is sending out…
I have no skin in this game and my self worth isn’t tied to having some exclusive cutting. Seems like CornbreadRicky is accessible on IG, so I do agree with the suggestion of reaching out to him!
No he definitely still has both or they’re both the same thing, just looking very different for unknown reasons. More 7’s. Maybe some cuts come from the bottom of the mom and some come from the top and that’s the difference idk. I’ve not gotten that ‘other’ cut from him to know.
This cut from rarebuyer is different for sure though. Is that the same as TK origins? Looks like it but again, idk Then there’d be two Triangle Kush… I’ll see about the potcast interview. We should have the transcripts handy too.
Oh, OK. Ya that makes sense to me. A few of my TKs were throwing 7 fingered leaves as you know and the moms / others are staying at either 3, 4 or 5. No clue when it was sourced from him. They stayed more compact this run than last.
I love find the difference type games where you have to circle the differences from one picture to another that’s almost identical.
This isn’t that but I figure since we’re playing the 5 finger 7 finger game, I have a folder that holds about 50 or so pictures of the TK I hold. I have looked through all of them and can’t find a single 7 bladed leaf. Hold up while I upload as many as possible that show fan leaves
We need to do some genetic fingerprinting of these cuts in order to figure out who has the real real. I’ll throw in on some testing costs if anyone knows a good genetics lab that does this. I think @SCJedi works with MyFloraDNA but I don’t think he has reported back the results from his finger printing of the different Sour Diesel cuts to know how good they are.
I supposed we would need a cut from as close to the source as possible. If someone does follow CornbreadRicky on IG reach out to him and see if he would send in a sample for science purposes lol.
Just found this at another place and it made me double take because people thought I was crazy saying an individual from the DLA5 S1 I made smelled like puppies breath.
I could see lemon in the pine/cleaner scent. My very first early sample of her from my very first grow of the original cut I’ve had was from day 53 and I said ‘lemon floor cleaner’ among other things. I’ve not ever said garbage or baby poop though until flowering out this new cut. And I don’t think I’ve ever said ‘sweet’ on the original cut either. My wife says the original cut I’ve had smells like ‘straight gas’
