Other tent is the BB gum mom, purple lemonade (+clone) and gran jefa freshly transplanted to fabric pots. 3 auto fems heading outside to the garden. Everything’s being fed jacks nutes 321 5-12-26 calnit and epsom. 1/3rd strength.
I think that’s all to report
Looking good man! I have the same problem with notes. That’s why I only move plants into bloom on Sunday. I also put a tally mark on every blooming plant on Sunday. I only fucked up once in 20 years, but thankfully I pay more attention to posting my bs in forums so I could go back and see what Sunday it was that I put them in.
I could have a timer on each plant and still stare at it confused for 10 minutes
May 11th. Roots haven’t hit the reservoir yet and I’m already thrilled with the Octopot magic.
Topped may 10th
May 20 update:
Octopots are no joke. Trunks on the clones are the same size if not bigger than the donor plant (two red pex pictures)
Defoliated/trained some more.
Upped feed strength in Octo reservoir to 100%. 6.0 ph and ~1130ppm
Octo tent flipped today.
Other tent flipped last week. Water may 22nd
Blueberry gum mom^
Quick update-
Full steam ahead. Both tents Jacks 3-2-1 1130ppm, ~100% strength. Humidity is out of control, pipes are sweating, slabs wet, but the plants seem to like it. Once they start to flower if nature doesn’t get in line I’ll set up some dehumidification. Pruning semi-aggressively, both tents are going to be jungles. Lessons will be learned.
Mixed tent is chugging along, 2 weeks from flip.
Blueberry gum mom;
Gran Jefa
Purple Lemonade
Octopot tent - blueberry gum clones
OH YEAH, you are going to be in a fist fight, taming those ladies!
All the best to ya!
The gloves are off!
Opened up the 5’ tent today (fabric pot no octopots here) and this idiot is trying to touch the sun. Did some more aggressive pruning, set the net up (gloves are off).
Then I thought if that’s the fabric pot tent in 2 days I don’t even want to look in the Octopot tent.
@webeblzr I knew I was in for a fight but… they aren’t fighting fair!
This will have to do for now until I get another net. Problem is I’m learning Octopot stems do not like to bend- the mother plant will twist around in circles these clones snap and crunch! The leaves are also 3x the size of the donor. Idk. Gloves are off. These girls fight dirty. I like it.
OH yeah, Nature, IS the supreme being on Earth!
Lovely gardens!!
Blueberry gum in the octopots. Note to self- flip earlier next time. Post pruning
update the other stuff laterNote to self Next time- 2 plants, or root the clones, stick em in the octopots & flip to 12/12. These are a mix of during/after a much needed but somehow helpless feeling pruning
Looking good in here! love seeing the roots in the res like that too.
6 days later. They’re going to be out of the reservoir and into the distribution box soon. If the Octopot res goes dry I can save myself the troubleshooting
