Under the Floorboards V 3.0

Yeah, this. Tools always have value. And if they’re old(“antique”)people sometimes get really stupid, even if they’re pretty worn out.

For sure. And especially “artists” who’re like,”I got that axe from an old guy named horsebadorites in North Carolina, so you know it’s good…” haha. “Couldn’t have chopped this wood without it…”

“And I only paid a hundred dollars for it!”

“That axe made my art better!”

Just found your thread and all I can say is WoW so pretty. Your buds are out of this world and one day I hope to be able to grow buds like yours.

Pulling up a chair :chair: for the rest of the show.

No. 1 daughter-in-law is a pro at that, good idea.

Riiiiight! I don’t want to deal with the folks that would buy this stuff, or have them come into the crawlspace to check it out! Or worse, come back later :frowning:

I buy stuff like that, but am really cool, lol!

I wasn’t sure if you were from NJ, or what, lol J/K Joisey!

I’ve read of folks keeping them for 3 months… but you know how that is!

They were in a big ziploc with the stems wrapped in a damp paper towel. I did blow some CO2 into the bag before I zipped it.

They mostly looked like crap when I pulled them out, but the best ones did perk up.

I honestly think a week or two would have been better. CRS (Can’t Remember Shit) takes it’s toll

I am definitely going to try it again.

I’m an antique, and I do have a few antique tools. They are not in the way! The working tools all have cords, even I don’t want to use them. They are nothing special, not that I don’t wish they were.

I borrow tools from my kids now, instead of them jacking mine, lol! Once you use batteries, you never go back.

You are right about that. I do visit some old tool forums. Just saw a chisel go for $4500… it was nice, lol!

I knew I shoulda asked more!

It’s probably silly, but there is something to be said about making something with a tool you know made some really cool stuff. The hands that have been on it… it’s pretty neat… doesn’t mean you’re gonna make art though!

That’s nice of you to say, thanks. Just keep fucking up, and you’ll get there!

I had to move indoors 12 years ago. I’d grown outdoors since 1970, I didn’t know squat about indoors, and that kept up for about 8 years. Kept beating my head against the wall trying to be organic, like outside, how hard can that be!

Found weed forums, and one of my goals was to grow nice looking plants like the folks I admired were doing. Mine kept getting deep fried… pots was great, just looked like shit on some sticks.

I get coco, Don’t know why.

I just love looking at happy plants, it really is therapeutic for me… and these do look fucking gorgeous… I had a homicidal thought in months, lol!

No chairs, but there’s a bale of straw no one’s sitting on

lol, nah, I’m from NC, or the better Carolina, as I like to refer to it

I think I have that CRS thing too, haha.

I’m gonna give it a shot the next time I have no room to root cuttings, thanks for the tips!

Ahhhh, The Old North State, no wonder you type funny, me too! Are you any good at rooting clones?

Yup, I’ve left the south, but the south doesn’t wanna leave my mouth, haha.

Usually, I can root them with little issues… but I wouldn’t say I’m an expert. I get the fastest results with the aerocloner and hormones, but I like low-tech too.

Rats, I was hoping you were close, and I could put you to work! Pay sucks, but there’s a lot of smoke breaks

Ha, so much for my columnish observation on Aluna #1, lol!

She spread her wings, it was truss time.

Kinda got her contained

I’m leaving fishnet stocking off for a bit. It’s a pain when it’s chop time.

I’m not sure if she’s done with her stretch. It’s only been 19 days since she was flipped. I’ll tie down those leaders when she’s done, if I can!

Still have to trim off some of the lower stuff, but she took it pretty well.

On the clone front. The mojo is back! Well, one (out of 10) has struck after 23 days!!!

One root is all it takes, I hope!

SSDD lives on!

Doode, I love these plants! :yum:

They are just cruising so nicely, just want to keep them that way.

No red yet. Hoping I see something like the Redbud we got in the olden days, we’ll see

Hay, hay, sonny!
These are too nice to keep to my self. I’m really impressed with the way these are looking. That Bodhi, he can’t help but make me look good, even as a torturer, LOL!

Thanks for taking a look, fellas!

Happy Belated Birthday!

Sorry I missed it. :relieved: Happy to see over @DJSF ‘s Ever growing adventure that you’re doing well.

Can I follow along? If you don’t mind a lady lurking in the back quietly watching. :joy:

Thanks @KanehB  After so many, it’s not a big deal anymore… never thought I’d get past 30!

DJSF’s my other son, gotta keep an eye on him. I like what I’m seeing!

Ladies are always welcome in the crawl, my girls will love the company. Make yourself comfortable, and help yourself to some beverages and cheese straws… they’re made with real straw :yum:

After hanging for 3 weeks, this SSDD seemed ready.

Even her fan stems were crusty!

SSDD Pile

SSDD Untrimmed

We’re thrifty in these parts, Southern Primitive trim bin!
Trim Bin

Trim Bin & Snips

After about 5x branches.
Snips

She was a pretty sticky one, but also a bit greasy. As the snips loaded up, the blades sort of slid over each other, instead of cutting, then it was time to switch up. I lost count of how many times I had to stop and scrape all the blades clean.

It added up to a nice gob of scissor hash, which seemed to vaporize before I could remember to get a pic!

The trim was so sticky, it didn’t want to fall off, either the scissors or the buds. Kinda like trying to flick a gooey booger away, but a lot more fun.

When it was all said and done, it was about 8 1/2 zips. Pretty good for me, and a 2 gallon pot. Actually, it was very good for me, lol! In mud, I was lucky to pull 2z’s/gal… mostly because they ended up so fried! Mon the coco

I am not a close trimmer, a real lazy bones, just trim to the frost :yum:

The trim came out nicely, too. I didn’t burn the leaf tips, so it was all very usable for kief, cookies and tincs. There’s a lot, so I’m going to try vacuum sealing and freezing most of it…

Right now, there’s a very, very sour nose, eye-wateringly acrid. No berry, no butter, no muffins. This one went for 80 days. I usually run these for 70, so it will be interesting to see if this packs a knockout punch, or even a different kind of pain relief… the waiting IS the hardest part, lol!
