This run will finish somewhere between 4/20 and the Ides of May. For everyone waiting on their omelette du fromàge, there will be three batches; the Green, the White, and the Blue. Then there are another 8 seeds that will be wetted, and bedded, and with a little luck wedded, before the end of summer. If I get another batch of all females, I don’t even know what I’ll do. Lmfao…

Since there will be three batches of seeds already, the yellow Kiona is being donated to a friend for a separate project. Needed the extra room, anyway. Even being heavily topped her growth rate was just phenomenal. Couldn’t keep up with her.

Sort of.
The last two Kiona I ran were pretty leafy, too, but it’s a whole different experience than trimming indicas. The leaves are super thin, and loooong, so you can kinda just go ham without as much risk of lopping off whole buds, like you would with an indica. And any leaves you do miss sort of disappear, where an indica leaf is like, a whole bowl pack lol

Green Snowhigh coming in early with the frost. She has a little trouble holding herself up, just like the Kiona, and would much prefer some sort of staking… I know better… don’t ask me why I don’t own bamboo stakes. Lol I don’t know…

Been a mission trying to get decent pictures. I think it’s either;
Light intensity is not correct, and making it hard for the camera to focus.
Or
Apple intentionally fucking with older phones so people upgrade sooner. 
Anyway. I feed them plain water @ <5% soil volume every other day, and once a week or two, I water fully. You can see the general yellowing of the plants, especially on Snowhigh Green, as they start to starve. Day before yesterday they actually got nutrients, Nectar of the Gods. Today they will get the same.

Yeah… I’ve always been told to stop spraying when the balls are ready to pop, and I think I’ve just learned why. First staminate flowers to open are pretty dry and pathetic. I mean. Trich’d out and throwing beautiful shades of purple, but I don’t care about purple flowers covered in trichomes, damnit! I want pollen! 
Damn… look at that left edge of the leaf pointing towards the camera.
This is what confuses me. How did my camera pull this quality out, and the other day it was like 16-bit sega genesis?
I’m thinking the big gap between the subject and the background might be the answer

So flash on, in full light, seems promising. The first flush of pistils on the Snowhigh White-tag are maturing and losing viability now, fading to a nice peach color. They’ve all been given identical conditions, and she’s much greener than her sisters, who both have only pure white hairs, still.
I would imagine these two would take longer to finish, but their rapid yellowing might mean the buds will go through a rapid ripening period, too.

I had some Vietnam Black seeds from my Vietnam veteran buddy…and I also did my own crosses with them…the 1st. picture was from a long time ago and it was a crappy camera…
Vietnam Black x Schrom…Schrom was of Columbian Gold lineage…I called it Vietnam Gold.
I also crossed it with my real deal Matanuska Thunder Fuck strain which I called Vietnam Thunder Fuck…VTF
