@LegsMahoney grandma pie is my absolute favorite( yours is missing the fresh basil on top). No one around he makes it but when I travel i make sure to get it. Brooklyn(Knapp St) and Saratoga springs(mama miaās) so far have the best ones Iāve tired
Good eye! We were out of basil. Took my recipe from Frank Pinello of Best Pizza in Brooklyn, it always comes out great. Better when I make the sauce and dough myself though I just say

Last time I was in Brooklyn (Oct 2020) this is what I got for take out ( grandmas pie, riceballs, rappini and fried calamari) This is my kind of feast.

5b bromigoā¦ Its a cool weather plant so you plant it early spring and I also grow my own Italian Romanescoā¦canāt find my pictures of Romanesco but this is what it looks likeā¦I grow a lot of vegetables check out my thread.
BTW, you can get seeds at eBay its cheaperā¦both Rapini & Romanesco
Thanks for the link to the vegetable garden thread, you pulled in some great looking veggies. Iām getting ready to order seeds for this year. I like growing a variety of peppers first and foremost but like a variety of veggies as well.
