Happy birthday my friend!!!
I agree, I don’t know if the French make a sour dough baguette. On a more pragmatic level, they are available where I live from what I suppose would be considered artisanal bakeries. Probably a bunch of stoner bakers, mixin’ it all up like that!
I will have to keep my eyes open for some, we have a few artisan bakeries around here.
Last nights meal was veggy sausages eggs on sour toast, chips and beans.
Langua or el pastor for me… but the Gordita at the Mercado here…omg! Love them!!!
We do those! Our kids call them banana boats! Often with added jam and mayo!
pigeonman it looks so tasty !!!
Happy National Chocolate Cake Day…last Friday in January.
Lastnights meal was 3 bean stew with kidney, black and black eyed beans, chilli, garlic, onions, tomatoes and some smokey bbq sauce I found in the cupboard. It came out really good.
Last night’s dinner prior to going to the Noir City Film Festival, which, btw, has been every bit as great as my meal was last night!
You’ve all seen this one before. It’s a go to for me. Praise the lard. Simple to prepare and delicious to eat. It’s good and I can be lazy, that’s for me!
Port chop with pan sauce, apple sauce (1 granny smith, 1 yellow delicious) and a heavily buttered red Diane yam.
Well that looks pretty freakin’ yum!
Funny-- didn’t know that, but made layered chocolate pound cake with raspberry preserves in the middle and chocolate frosting…
A bit too sweet for me-but still quite yummy!
I did not make the chocolate cake, my buddy’s wife did…I told him last night that today will be National Chocolate Cake Day…I had a small piece, it’s was good but way to sweet for me.
