Mrs. mota was nice enough this morning to make me some comfort food, matzo brei. Basically just plain matzo soaked for a moment in water then cooked with scrambled egg. Itās really simple, like me. And thatās even fancy. Iām happy to eat a matzo as is. Yum. But this is fancier.
If you can deal with it being a little overcomplicated to make, I recommend adding some milk to the water before you soak.
I really like Freddieās Root Beer. Tastes more like what I remember root beer tasting like when I was a kid than any other Iāve tried of late.
The patty itself was 3/4 beef, 1/4 pork. A little over 1/2 lb total. It was delicious.
Happy Easter Folks
I have 11 more days of not boozing/smokingā¦last nites supper at a friendās condoā¦ Chicken curry, good eats as alwaysā¦
Your supper was one fortune cookie, doesnāt look like your fortune is doing well atm buddy
Are those Chinese tater tots
If those are turnip patties Iām jealous.
I guess at the looks of it you could say so sweet potato tots
When I was a little kid (in single digits), my folks liked this Chinese restaurant, Paul Wongs Four Seasons. One time when we were there with friends of theirs, Maury (the husband) said something about how great the Chinese pretzels were. He was, of course, talking about the dry fried noodles. Just a second later, this kidās head pops up from over the bench seatās back at the next table and starts yelling at his folks that HE wants Chinese pretzels! And where are HIS Chinese pretzels?!?!?!
Iāll bet his folks hated us that night!
I hadnāt thought about that in so long! Thank you!!
They look really good
They were wicked awesomeā¦ filling as hell
No, no, that was breakfast! HA!
