I’m was an engineer 1/3 of the time (retired) but a weed guy 2/3 of the time. If I had to answer simply to the question I’m a weed grower . Been in the game over 35 years now. 25 under the radar and 10 helping and watching things change in a way I could only dream.

Honestly I’m now trying to become a serious breeder, but I’m only back into growing since 1 year ago starting from scratch, been through some pretty bad times and messed up shit, but I have a lot planned for the future, just trying to work my way there. Hope to provide some great genetics to those interested. A relative of mine actually owns a legal production farm, but I’m way more into genetics/seeds.

Some pretty cool careers posted in here, I’d like to try out the stocks game someday, cheers to you all

Due to a lack of education I have had quite a variety of jobs over the years. For a long period my main income was growing and I would just keep jobs for appearance sake .

When I finally gave up cash cropping I ended up on a drilling rig for 7 years. 8 years ago today I was rushed from my rig to the hospital because I filled the toilet with blood. After that job almost killing me and I found myself terminally ill at 32 simply from going to work and doing my job . I have not worked since and am still fighting for compensation.
Now I just live . I went from taking home well over 10k a month to living off of not even 1k a month now. I refuse to sell any of the weed I grow and give away any extra. Funny thing is I have everything I need and have never felt so content with life.

I’m an ex Marine, worked in kitchens and construction for awhile, in and out of school a few times, currently unemployed and studying Cannabis, Art, the Occult, and Alchemy. Mostly I’m just interested in being self sustaining. I farm and forage for my food, drink from a well, and go for long walks. Just trying to homestead as much as possible really. Making medicine from plants is what really drives me at this point in life. The Northeast US has a lot of interesting and useful plants for health and wellness. My father is an expert forager and mushroom hunter, and is recently retired, so I’ve been learning a lot from him over the period of the last year or so. My goal is to use my art and writing to earn enough to sustain my homestead.

Despite 30+ years in the financial world - also in Chicago (we likely both know many people in common) - I don’t give advice either. The only advice is do give is to buy stocks in companies which provide products that stir your soul.

As an example, I jumped onto TiVo early as a customer and loved it. All my friends and co-workers loved it also so I jumped on it and invested a good amount into it. I bought it at like $3.50 and sold it over $10.

That’s about as speculative as I get these days!

Sure :+1: I don’t give advice tho. Just advise reading/watching/learning. I’m no pro & I’ve lost money many times haha. As long as I’m winning more than losing its good.

Wow, so cool. I tried that in college. MUCH tougher than it looks. Don’t think I even got a decent bubble that semester. Absolutely love to watch someone do that.

I’ve always been a big art fan but I was late to catch on to amazing glasswork. Hopefully you’ll share pics of your creations.

I am in the IT field and currently work in 3 hospitals doing managed print services and IT support. Been an interesting place to work during the pandemic as I am constanly in areas with Covid positive patients. It is nice to at least be able to do my small part to keep our health care system running smoothly.

My god you aren’t lying about being a glass artist! That piece is the nuts!

I’ve long wanted to buy a nice glass piece for Queenmambo. I think I will have to give you a commission! She grew up in Tucson so the desert is close to her heart. A piece with a Saguaro cactus and a roadrunner or such would be cool.

Is there a place I can go to see more of your work?

Props dude; that piece is stunning.
