Way better to taste it than waste it…
Any mechanics send a dm please. Don’t need any mechanic ‘advice’ just a trade related question
Maybe dolly will be there this year… her smoking 80 year old body will be worth more than any pay
On-site. Stored in 2 500lb drums last I saw. The machine was in the same room as a boiler, That is a no no by current standards but…filled it with nitrogen and it held pressure. I never had occasion to run it.
If you know how to manipulate the pressures and get to a liquid line it goes fast.
bananas work the same
Used feather lite a lot growing up in the body shop. Or dynalite. Now if I end up needing filler after the hammer and dolly I use a product called rage by evercoat. It’s amazing sands like a finishing putty.
Got to show off another pic of what I do lol. Yes I am a little nuts. The only reason I’m here is because I ain’t all there no the camera isn’t crooked it really is leaning over that far lol odd feeling I tell ya.
Sure thing FBI, want to know my DOB and social insurance number too??
Dog bless you, Man! I am terrified of heights! Once in Las Vegas, I got free passes to go up the tower at the Stratosphere Hotel. They have this epic elevator with 2 attendants inside. As soon as the elevator doors opened at the top and the wind rushed in, I instantly hit the deck. No thought to it, just instant terror and my body just responded. Here I was sitting on the floor of the elevator shouting “Shut the door!!!”. I have never been more embarrassed in my entire life. The attendants told me in all sincerity not to be and said that it happened at least 3 times a day, every day. I will never forget that as long as I live.
I walked out onto a balcony on the 72nd floor of the cosmopolitan in Vegas , still don’t know what the hell I was thinking I hate heights.
Well if that’s not enough for you. You can rent a car and drive to the Grand Canyon sky walk
And get to go over the Hoover dam on your way.
Hell fucking NO! Couldn’t even get near that thing! Vertigo just thinking about it.
If it makes it any better I don’t like heights either lol. The only reason I go up then dammed things is $$$$$$$ depending on height and the area it pays between $42 &$100a day to $100hr & 250 a day. If something goes wrong and it comes to the dirt I’ll never know lol I just tell myself I’ll break my fall with my wallet lol
I’m a superintendent for a large multi state outfit. I field manage new construction of multi million dollar projects… mainly multi story projects… tallest was 22 story in Tampa FL… square footage was a massive medical facility in Florida took 2 years. Currently doing a 3 story school in rural new England… averages 140 guys a day over several contractors. It’s stressful but knowing I’m a huge part of something that will be here for years and people will enjoy has its benefits. I will find some pics
@Trich_house thats awesome , how do you like being on the road so much? That is a lot of employees to oversee, gotta be hard keeping em all on track…
I love those heights. I’m an Ironworker, spend a good deal of time putting those up, jumping them and breaking them down. Occasionally get to build a building or bridge with them too. Nothing like a good operator on a job, makes my job so much easier. I’ve watched them sway way to much to make me ever want to sit in one for 10 hrs a day though.
I hear ya, im in the same boat as far as good pay and perks but crap hours and stress. Luckily i work at a university so im going to start pursuing something different, im thinking biological engineering but it will take a while
@Stickyjones hopefully sooner than later, we need someone to biologically engineer a virus killer.
Hell yeah, can isolate and culture some beneficial bacteria that kill the hell out of carona virus and make some bad ass soil when im done
