What is at play here?

Open a window, let it dry after spraying. Put down a tarp or something if you wanna be extra cautious.
Once it’s dry, plants are safe to handle. Don’t drink it, if any gets on you wash it with water. Wear glasses. Use common sense. Millions of Americans use this product every summer. My yard is tick & flea free haha.

That being said, best practices are good to be “in the habit of”. Personally, just ol vernal talking, pretty much don’t do anything special. Spray and wash my hands after and still sleep easy at night. I have never in my life gotten sick from spraying pesticides, and boy have I sprayed a lot. I have also gotten rid of bedbugs and roaches for multiple friends, saved them a bundle on pest control, and no one has gotten sick.

I have never in my life burned plants with pesticides. Just my experience. Have probably used over a dozen different ones. Follow the directions, and let dry before putting back under lights and you should be golden.

It’s much safer than you’d think, every label of every pesticide has warnings on it for legal purposes. The really dangerous stuff isn’t on the market anymore. You’re in early veg, your flowers would test clean for pesticides by end of flower no matter what you use.

Absolutely ridiculous statement. There is plenty of dangerous stuff still on the market, but it is illegal to sell at hydrostores. That’s why you’re telling people to go to the lawn and garden section of big box stores. Nuke’n plants over thrips… that’s almost as bad as your suggestion to nuke springtails.

You gotta get new memes, dog.

No one loves a joke more than me but it’s stale like the bread in jail. Oklahoma legal scene grow-bros must be a dead zone for comedy.

“My boss and the state bureacrats don’t let me use pesticides so they must be all bad and so is anyone that uses them”.

ok its good to be so safe and all but do you eat hotdogs? Did you ever smoke cartel stuff? Do you know the US gov used to spray fields of pot with poisons? and those fields still got harvested and sold? Sevin is for veggie gardens if you eat produce your probably ingesting sevin already. I agree with clean pot, but just saying it wasnt always like this. Dealers used to put shit on pot and in pot to increase weight. Have heard of crushed glass even in a book. My question is why do they p[ut such strict testing standards on pot? I mean every year people die from tomatos lettuce peppers…they dont stop that?

No, I don’t eat them no|nullxnull , that’s why I grow my own weed and I know there are not any pesticides, dead bugs corps or sheet inside , you should be the first interested in having a healthy life which also means avoiding :hotdog: :pizza: :hamburger: :fries: :bacon: or at least not eating them on a daily basis.

In Spain you cannot buy heavy pesticides unless you show an ID that proves that you’ve done a special course regarding pesticides, how to use them and their protective clothes, that makes sense for me. Between using IPM and organic stuff or heavy chemicals I wouldn’t have any doubt … :sunglasses:

I understand your logic. I think there are a few points to consider - the biggest being pot is lit on fire and inhaled. This both changes the chemicals and doesn’t have the chance to be broken down through your digestive system. Another is the environment and what the production, use and disposal of these compounds are doing to our planet. I also think ‘because someone has done it before’ is not a good enough reason to continue doing something. As cannabis becomes more widespread, we will see a lot more research done on how toxic different things are, or are not. Until then, my personal opinion is to err on the side of caution.

Edit: and I definitely don’t eat hotdogs lol. Most could not tolerate my diet… hell, sometimes I can’t hardly tolerate it lmao. :v:

I agree. You sound like you live what you say, so I agree. I just think at times its only pushed in the pot culture to make it a big business type thing. I also felt bad recently when I replaced my silica with gen hy. …Armor Si….monsano
and all.

Wasn’t arguing please know, I just saw all the posts and my underdawg brain kicked in. But I know in the mid 70’s I smoked pot that was sprayed with paraquat .

We all smoked that pot. Was suppose to kill it. They just harvested it sooner and sent it state side.

They also use to sell KW…killer weed. Parsley or maybe pot sprayed with chemicals. People were not as cautious back then and paid for it.

I am a vegan, so no I do not eat hot dogs…but I did at one time.

Mine is under control. But I have absolutely no issues using chemicals.

As long as they are not to deep into flowering, I will fog their asses and not think twice about it. :+1:
