No tobacco at all …
Two of our favorites - sometimes with tips/filters. Sometimes broken up and rolled by hand. Sometimes ground and machine rolled…. Never….never with tobacco…
Most of the papers I see in Canada are European; zig zag, raw, rizla, but it’s cool to see all the different brands. Never seen gizeh before.
I don’t usually smoke joints but I have these with me. The packaging even features a magnetic closure so the protective flap snaps closed.
No idea where these are made, just “Imported for” on the packaging. Figure I’d check the website for more info.
I don’t know if I really qualify as a modern woman but it was nice of the wife to get me papers.
This literally made me laugh out loud. Like I can hear the commercial in my head “New, rolling papers…‘For the modern woman’” bwuahahahaha.
No offense intended but my wife has sent me down the feminine hygiene isle a time or two and I was overwhelmed by the number of options available to the modern woman. Just saying
Oh, no offense taken, I literally laughed out loud knowing the myriad of potential land mines guys get roped into hehehe
1000 rolling papers pack
@Art_Vandelay , go to the Art Museum I’ve lived my whole life in Chicago but never went to the art museum until 2 years ago when I moved out to the country, if you wanna check out different ethnic foods go to the different neighborhoods…
So I smoke about 70% out of joints, hand rolled cones with rolled filters, for many years with 5-10% good Danish rolling tobacco, though usually now they’re just joints not spliffs. Currently I smoke about half and half 1 1/4 or king size cones, with some occasional cigarette pinners, 4-8 a day usually.
This has been my habit for almost twenty years now since I started smoking and was taught to roll by two metalheads/punks I went to college with, one was a 6’4" Hungarian with dreadlocks to his waist and the other was a 5’4" Hawaiian punk guy. They agreed on many things including weed, spliffs, tall military boots, and the merits of good seeded bud. I learned a lot from being friends with them, since they both came from places where outdoor cultivation and feral cannabis were common, and had grown and seen professional grows by age 18. They also introduced me to fronto leaf and to rolling blunts with banana or other thick leaves by microwaving them slowly then gluing up the closure with honey. The Backwoods Queen in our friend group, a 6’ yoga instructor from Florida, tried to teach me to roll those but I could never get it, I had better luck with the 5’1" Boricua girl from the Bronx who showed me how to slice up and roll a Garcia y Vega green tube the right way. Still my favorite blunt wrap and now you can buy just the wrap, but the nostalgia of the green tube with the blunt in my pocket is strong.
I’m pretty agnostic about papers as long as they’re quality (no Zig-Zag Orange or EZ-Widers). I usually use RAW because they’re everywhere, but I’m just as happy with Elements, the nicer Smoking Brand, Skunk Brand, nicer OCBs, DLX, or even the Zig-Zag white or Modiano/Club little cigarette papers. Lots of the random brands or rebranded house stuff is quite good but it’s always hard to tell until you use them.
I need to get like @JoeCrowe and order up some cases to stop going and paying an extra dollar a pack once or twice a week, this place looks like it’s got the best prices, especially on some of their clearance cases of papers:
