Nahhhh, nice gyms are much cleaner than cheap ones. Less people, staff constantly cleaning/disinfecting machines after use, better ventilation/filtration systems, and so on. None of these Anytime Fitness, LA Fitness, Gold’s, Planet Fitness, and so on types. Equinox is nice.

Not my experience. Clean your own equipment. Takes twice as long to work out. Cracked vinyl on dip machine in a gym that charges 70.00 a month is just as infested with bacteria as cracked vinyl at 10.00 a month Planet fitness.

Nice clubs have no cracked vinyl or anything though and everyone wipes machines down after use at nice clubs or else you get your membership revoked. Equinox and the like are pricier than $70 per month though.

Glad to hear you’re recovering, @Heliosphear . You made a hell of an impression with that 7th Cannaversary party, and I’ve been tracking down your art here and there. I’m relieved to hear the community won’t be losing another thoughtful, caring artist-type. In the words of McKenna, we need creators, and to create.

Sorry to hear about your leg. I have heard of several people who went into hospital and was exposed to the flesh eating bacteria. While they have survived so far the impact was unimaginable. Offering prayers for your continued recovery.

Has a heart attack, almost loses a leg, and the first thing on his mind when he recovers is popping some Sour Grape F2’s. That’s Ganster AF.
