Belt was also my guess.
Tensioner could be going also be the problem.
Is it belt driven power steering, or electric motor? If it’s electric motor power steering, it could be the motor or the connectors could be corroding.
There’s no unusual noise when it happens.
The light will come on, and then at some point you’ll feel it tighten up
It happened once on the way home. We stopped to check it, drove home the rest of the way with the light on, but no issue that I know of with the steering wheel
I honestly have no clue I can read the book and find out.
We’re having it looked at, and getting the oil changed tomorrow cuz it needs it.
I’d check the condition of the serpentine belt and tension idler. It could be slipping causing voltage to drop and not getting enough psi to your power steering pump. The recent cooler weather is hard on batteries, especially if they have any age on them.
Good morning yo! Those little gals are looking good bro.
I’m super excited to see how they turn out!
Good morning brotha
Nice and healthy youngsters.
Mornin ! Love the frequent updates and good luck with the power steering.
Appreciate it @logangrowgan2020 we should hopefully have an idea of what’s wrong soon.
I found a method that works, and I couldn’t be happier
I would take it down to Autozone and have have them read the OBD codes. It’s quick and free.
Can confirm. This has helped me more than once with engines being all unworkable like they are now
We took it to O’Reilly’s before we went home. Their machine thing didn’t show anything. Said fuck it and went home.
“O o o o reilly’s…my shit won’t start”
Couldn’t resist.
Heart and soil seeds made my day! Their first package has pretty much disappeared by now I think. They were happy to send a replacement, and even through in something extra!
Y’all go support the bro if you haven’t already.
Morning OG fam it’s another chilly morning
