What's HomegrownVABudz up too?

Wow that’s quick rooting & healthy looking cuts. Kelp kicked it into overdrive eh?

I need to try the coco thing for seeds. Looks like a great method.

Good tip on the Dollar store for coco too.

Hell yeah, it’s good to stock up when they have it, cuz it’ll rotate out.

Yes, I’ve never heard of this. Maybe I’ll have to go poke around at the Dollar Tree.
Who’d a thunk it…

Right, Why spend more money when you can get the same mccoy for less.
I used to go there for my perlite bags from Ocean State Job lot for 3$.

@blowdout2269 @InTheWoods this is what it looks like. It works pretty good for small stuff.

I may try some coco in the future. Is it as easy as soil?

I mostly use it for starting clones and seeds, I do mix it into my fox farm to cut it a little, and help it hold water better.

I’ll have to try it out when I take some clones.

One of my sunflowers are getting prettied up!

I think this might be the happiest this strawberry plant has ever been.

Those sunflowers look great, I’d like to grow some of those everywhere but the deer come by & eat all the leaves off. That & Hastas are like their fav thing.

I had a third they completely destroyed, and they’ve eaten a lot of the lower leaves on the last two. Bastards  they snacked on my zinnias too.

I’ve decided to start a worm box. I got a container of worms from Walmart, and I plan on hunting some worms from the yard next time it rains.

I got a 6 quart container to start with, I added one brick of my dollar coco, the worms, and a few leaves from a pineapple on top.

Is there anything else I can do to make them happy as the get used to their new environment? Anyone a worm expert?

There’s some really good worm bin tutorials online. That’s how I built mine. I feed coffee grounds, paper without ink, and veggies scraps. They don’t need much food. But, remember that the population of red wigglers can double in a few months. So account for that when feeding.
I think @GrouchyOldMan keeps some wormies too. Maybe he can help?

Kinda got caught up with some stuff the past few days. All the cuts have rooted, I have one left that still need to get put in a cup of coco, but it’ll wait until tomorrow.

Just some worms doing what worms do. I like checking on them, seeing what they’re doing.

I writing it on my board to grab some preflower pics tomorrow, everyone is starting to show.

Got some plants in veg to sex out here soon, waiting for them to mature enough.

Rain is bleh, fucked my humidity up today, but it’s should be all good now.
