St John’s wart is what I take when I clean out. Which hasn’t happened in 10years. Most important thing that cannabis does is increase blood flow and lowers blood pressure. Anything that constricts the blood flow (like cigarettes) will take away from you high, eat a bunch of fatty foods boom high goes away, wife starts bitching boom high goes away (at least from my experience). I also take elderberry extract to detoxify my system every few months and a nice colan clean with Apple cidar and limited foods once a year. John Wayne had 32lbs of undigested meat rotting in his stomach when they did the autopsy. Sorry to gross the weak ones out…
Does does drinking Elderberry/Flower do the same?
Elder berry detoxifies you body. And is good for allergies.
How is st John’s wort? They’ve been trying to push SSRIs on me for years and I really, really don’t want to take them for various reasons.
In many studies, st John’s wort proves to be just as effective as SSRIs without nearly as many problems and potential side effects, I’m planning on picking some up to try it out.
Mellows you out. You’ll feel a little sleepy the first week. But you get used to it quickly if your not using cannabis.
for those interested in kratom, i plan to carry it in my dispensary in another 2 weeks or so. low doses give you a pep to your step, while higher doses (personally i take 4-5 grams in caps) gets you feeling really mellow. heroin addicts are able to use it and come off the opiates. i dont take to light doses, ill admit, i like the narcotic feeling kratom strains like da maeng give me.
i had a buddy take too much, he had never taken kratom before, and thought he could take my dose lol. dude passed out on my couch for 5 hours and i had to go pick up his wife from work. we all had a good chuckle afterwards.
@beacher I haven’t taken SSRIs but know a bit and would understand not wanting to take them from a side effect point of view. Cant give a real informed recommendation about St.JW but have heard more
Good than bad. I recently started takin Cumin and not sure f it’s a timing thing or not but I do have less pain and am able to do more. No miracle cure but definitely noticeable and would say my research was similar so give it a shot and see how it goes for you.
I’ll check it out, thanks. I think part of it is I’ve been off booze and weed for a few weeks and my body is in a state of shock lol
@beacher I’ve been on a form of SSRI for about 15 years now. The side effects ebb and flow. My insurance will only pay for generics so every once in awhile my pharmacy gets a different contract with a drug manufacturer and their particulat generic will mess with me for months. Honestly, most men I know on them have erection problems from them. As a woman, thankfully they don’t mess with my sex drive, but that is usually the most disturbing side effect. Personally, I was a miserable depressive mess before them and probably would have committed suicide by now without them. Unless you have a true chemical imbalance that causes depression, I would shy away from them. Any situational depression is better solved by therapy imho as withdrawal from them is dangerous and gnarly.
Thanks for that. I’m glad they work for you! Some people have serious problems with these medications and end up worse than when they started.
Although I’ve been doing it for years as an amateur, messing with my brain chemistry really scares me. I’m going to keep pushing through as I always have, but it’s nice to know that SSRIs are there as another option if I can’t hack it anymore.
