That was my plan, I’ll also pollinate clones of all photos and autos I’m running. What kind of seed range quantity wise can you expect from a gold ball size bud? Seed health wise does the size of the bud matter?

By the way, anyone know a good person to hit up for pollen that can get it to the Midwest fast? I’m not going to get pollen before my current auto clones are done

I agree with the estimate of 100. Easily 100. I pollinate crap little branches and get lots.
Clones of autos? Unlikely.
My breeding experience is with photos only.
Apart from this procedural stuff I’m telling you is that my best advice is to not be too ambitious. Skip clones for now. Grow your flower tent, make a jail, selectively pollinate everything, find something you like, then use those seeds for a pheno hunt to really refine the lines.

Snapped an hour ago, all autos, fully rooted, growing, and in need of pollen. A few scraggy ones in there, but some very healthy.
I have two other sets of them for about 50 total taken from 4-5 plants

But you’re right. Unless you find a generous soul you won’t get pollen in time.

Not sure why you say that, you absolutely can, those are all fully rooted clones (other than the seedlings). Though it’s looking like I’ll just get extra bud from them rather than seeds
I was even able to take cuttings after flowering began and have them take root.

When you clone a photo, that clone will think of itself as another plant and form a root system. But with an auto the auto gene does not allow any cuttings to think of themselves as another plant. In all my time I have never seen anyone clone a full auto.
Oh, and the only reason I have 50 of them is because I was told so many times I couldn’t do it, or that it would stunt the plant, etc. I lost like 3 of them…

Well now i`ve seen it all.
I almost pulled it off where I clones, rooted, and reverse in time, but I started reversing too late because of all the time pruning the monster plants

I think there are some shots from when they were smaller and less plentiful, also a shot of the roots. Many have just been growing and floating sitting in stagnant water in trays…
