Which of these for sleep?

Hi,

Planning my next grow and really need a indica heavy strain for sleep. What do you guys think is the best of the below strains I have on hand for sleep? I usually drop a whole pack, so I dont really want to grow multiple of these.

PCK: From the most recent COOP. As far as I know this is 100% indica and I figured my best bet for good sleep weed.

Hydra Stash from Dragon Flames Genetics: this is 3X OG x Dragon Stash. When I looked up the 3XOG it seems to be called Crazy OG. Seems indica dominent. He has some really strong strains, but I cannot find much info on this one and it might be too much hybrid effects for what Im looking for.

Blue Moon Rocks and Blue Kush from recent BOG COOP: @DougDawson might know if these are good for sleep? Seems like the Blue Kush is more indica leaning than the BMR?

Blockhead: got this in another COOP box. Seems indica heavy. Did anyone try this?

Kush x SSDD: This might be pretty good for sleep as well? SSDD is a relaxing strain.

Banana OG from COOP: From what I looked up this should be indica leaning and relaxing.

I really want to grow the Hydra Stash, but dont want to risk it not being indica enough, so I think PCK is the best bet. Any ideas on these strains in regards to good sleep?

Blue Kush is the more sleepy strain out of those 2 IMO.

No seriously I usually can’t even finish a full cone of the stuff without me falling asleep in the middle of it.

It kind of depends on your brain chemistry man… hybrid sativas help me relax and sleep more uninterrupted than traditional indica hybrids. Freakshow and diesel always do the trick but shiatsu kush is a great strain for any preference imo. Japanese lineage designed to relax the mind and body

Yea 100% and I have found out that those Sativa Hybrids, especially Diesel hybrids, are terrible for my brain to find rest. Goji OG was REALLY terrible right before bed for me :smiley: and Casey Jones doesn’t let me sleep good either right now.

I do definitely sleep good on more traditional indica stuff or at least 50 50 hybrids. The sativa leaning hybrids just make my head spin too much. I don’t even feel tired before going to bed. No heavy eyes on the sativas at all lately.

Oh yeah man you are definitely in the majority most people aren’t big on sativas at night. The one strain I won’t mess with is like haze after dark…way too much of a head trip. I’m kind of OCD and busybody so the hybrid sativa allows me to focus a little more. Sometimes pure Indica just doesn’t do it. So many damn options these days it’s almost a problem.

Ha yea I was gonna mention Haze. 15 years ago on the blackmarket in Europe it was either Haze or “normal weed” , we did not have strains where I lived. Everyone always wanted the Haze and I started noticing that I wasn’t able to sleep after smoking Haze joints at night. Kept me up for hours :laughing:

Smoke Haze and gulp a handful of amphetamines. That’s how you do it.

The PCK i got once, though labeled as a Kush, was more of a hybrid effect. Relaxed body but soaring uplifted mind. So not my choice for sleep.

I have two phenos of the kush 4 x ssdd, I will test them out again later and let you know if they’re sleepy at all.

Is that what haze is akin to? Like taking adderall or something? Because if it is I think I need to start growing hazes lmao

Id recommend a pure indica such as Hindu kush, purple kush or something similar. Hk does me right.

Howdy pal,

I wouldn’t say the Banana OG makes me sleepy, but neither of the Blue Kush phenos I have do either. The only strain that’s ever made me sleepy was Slurricane.

I think the question is very subjective really. What makes one sleepy may not make the next person. It’s all about how a specific thing reacts to your body. Advice will take you in a direction but really I think trial and error is the only way you will be able to answer this correctly. :v:

For me I find GDP allowed to amber tricomes does the trick. 3 puffs and about a half hour finds heavy eyelids and time for slumber.
