White spots on my leaves, no bugs, not PM šŸ¤·

There ya go brotherā€¦ā€¦

Due diligence my man, look closerā€¦ we can only see what you share and you shared pics of leaves with obvious bug bite damage. I see at least three potential candidates for a closer look and multiple people have identified a viable potential culprit. A simple Google search for ā€œthripsā€ says to shake your plants over a piece of paper and look for bugs falling off.

Maybe try zooming in and looking closer, these donā€™t look like leaves to me

@herojuana.tom those red circles is exactly what I was looking for, and have now, thanks! :+1:.

I have, of course, done numerous searches on a couple search engines, but I guess I just needed to see what everyone else was seeing on my leaves šŸ¤·.

I really didnā€™t know asking for some help with the details would cause such a hassle. As I said, Iā€™ll remember that in the future and will go elsewhere.

Probably thrips. Treat with pyganic specialty 5.0. Heavy for first 2 weeks and maintenance after and they will be a distant memory

Oh, you didnā€™t help, you did nothing but prove its difficult to ask questions here because of people like you.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that doesnā€™t work well with the fish.

Broā€¦ this is a little ridiculous, just a few posts in I told you check with a microscopeā€¦ @Oldjoints was trying to help by identifying the issue as a seasoned grower, did you want us to somehow get a microscope Pic from your non microscope pictures? I donā€™t see why you think certain people werenā€™t trying to helpā€¦
I mean I get itā€¦ sometimes words on a screen can be misleading in what their intended nature was supposed to beā€¦
But I googled Thrips and found tons right awayā€¦ to say asking questions at OG isnā€™t worth it is offensive. I know how you feelā€¦ no one wants a grow to be screwed up at all everā€¦ and we donā€™t like seeing a fellow grower have a failure happenā€¦ itā€™s like you think we think itā€™s funny or that we donā€™t understandā€¦ yet these people took the time to read and think about your post and be kind enough to chime in at allā€¦ it isnā€™t their obligation to do soā€¦ everyone does it to helpā€¦
Iā€™ve seen ya around and I know youā€™re not a bad dudeā€¦ and I donā€™t think anyone is saying you areā€¦ so why the attack on any of the responses? That in my eyes would make someone who knows quite a bit about growing like @JohnnyPotseed or @Oldjoints not want to help out of fear of backlash for no reasonā€¦ be cool broā€¦ we are like family yeah? Letā€™s act like it buddyā€¦ 1 love 1 goal 1 familyā€¦ to overgrow the world :earth_americas:

Donā€™t think Iā€™m just being an ass ā€¦ because I donā€™t want you to think my message is an attack eitherā€¦ but itā€™s to get you to thinkā€¦ honestlyā€¦ do you really think they werenā€™t trying to honesty help you?

Thank you for writing all of that.

No, I donā€™t think anyone was trying to be dishonest, but when someone says they can see three faces smiling at them, and Iā€™ve asked 7 times what Iā€™m missing in the pic that others are seeing šŸ¤· it doesnā€™t feel like help, ya know?

Until @herojuana.tom circled them, I had no idea. I have also looked them up, but I couldnā€™t see them on my own leafā€¦ Forest for the trees, whatever you want to call it, I couldnā€™t see them.

Again @herojuana.tom, thank you for that.

A update on my gardenā€¦ I have blue stickies in every pot, and hanging from several places in the tent, along with big yellow stickies just in case, and predatory bugs being watered in as we speakā€¦ Those lil buggers arenā€™t going to be around long, hopefully.

Brother, hadnā€™t I already made the circles for you to see before? You even replied to the message. Now I donā€™t understand.

@Onobigrower youā€™re absolutely correct, I apologize!! I scrolled up and saw @herojuana.tom pic and thought that was the first one, I didnā€™t scroll up far enough.

Thank you again!!

It wonā€™t take long to verify the presence or absence of thrips with both colors of sticky traps.
Which predator insects are on order?

The first shot at eating the thrips is up to these guys

Nema Globe Pot Popper Organic Indoor Fungus Gnat & Insect Control 8x1 Million Beneficial Nematodes (S.Feltiae) , white https://a.co/d/daNpIka

And if those donā€™t get em, I have these on deck, lol

Nema Globe 4 x 5 Million Beneficial Nematodes https://a.co/d/7UFjaKx

Hopefully something here takes em all out :crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:

Be patient with the nematodes. It will take a few weeks for their populations to reach control levels. A soap spray is an option to use if you start seeing adult thrips on the sticky traps.

I donā€™t recall if you used spinosad, but it is another product to control thrips.

A couple weeks? Thank you, that helps set my expectations! I was ready to give them 1 week before I started in with the next round of bugs, lol.

I do have neem oil and Iā€™ll be making up a solution and hand washing each leaf, hopefully today if I can get away from the family (not complaining ). Iā€™m trying to stay away from sprays so I donā€™t end up with anything in the water, neem oil is quite toxic to fish apparently.
