Riot was talking about Dr Atomic on one of his lives, I asked if he was still around and apparently he is. Not sure if there are any seeds in the works though, that was a while ago so I don’t really recall much.

My experience with nl is twenty years ago, so I’m not much help with them, a friend had great results with dratomics…
I haven’t experience with this one, but I know many things from nirvana and kcbrain are good, they both have northern lights…

me too. There may be better strains, but I doubt if I chase them. Sensi Seed is1,2,5 mixed iirc. Works fine for me. Good sleep meds.

I had no access to American genetics before and has grown Dutch seeds for years … I tried from Nirvana and Sensi.
Nl from Sensi was incredible …
Its peculiarity was that it almost does not smell when it blooms, but after cutting and drying its smell cannot be hidden, it is sharp and everywhere penetrating …

You just reminded I did grow out Nirvanas northern lights. It was my first serious grow and it was quickly bumped out by something else. I remember it being just okay. Looks like I still have eight seeds of them.

Nobody mentioned CSI yet but he just did a repro and I copped em the day they dropped, when he does a repro I usually do, but I’m not sure exactly what you are looking for, was always partial to 5 myself

Let me tell you a story of @deep_rob and the NL 1,2, 5, and 5*2 that we sent into the community early 2020. There was many folks who received said beans. And a lot who ran them, it was right before this whole RKS thing on AG that a dude from Alaska ordered some from me too.
Overgrow gives cool kids stuff all the time, the problem is, not everyone wants to give the folks at OG the credit.
Should one be interested DCseedexchange will have the NL2 back soon, the NL1 is being run by a former member as we speak, and the 5*2 and 5 will be coming soon. These are all IBL of the seed bank of hollanda first releases of all of NEVIL’S lines made from others gear they sent him.
Also another thing I like to note. I’ve witnessed several times history be rewritten to fit a person or groups narrative, and it’s been also enlightening to experience it, as I myself would of never believed it until seeing it.

Yes, not potent and lack of smell or taste. Nothing special. But I only grew out two seeds from the pack. Both female and similar.
I believe it got bumped for Pineapple Express. And I wasn’t overly impressed with PE. So that’s saying something if NL got bumped for the PE.

I dont know if you care about crosses with a good northern lights in it, possibly NL number 1 as it did not stretch at all, Im also not sure if Delicious seeds still operate and produce the quality they once did.
I heard they started sub contracting breeders with less care about true breeding…
Anyway i tried Del Seeds NL X blue several times the first few seeds around 2012 and clones were sent all over the place as everybody loved it and it could be harvested in around 55 days, 50 days if you really wanted to…But 55 was best i found…it had everything, fast growing, fast cloning, potency flavour, fast flowering, NO STRETCH AT ALL- perfect for scrogs or sea of greens…Just let the branches grow through the screen a bit longer or the yeild will suffer as the buds are long and dense- however they dont grow taller like with anything with some sativa in it.
Then i got more seeds from delicious and they ended up being not as good and harder to choose a keeper…However one was so giggly my friends all called it laughing gas…
Another thing, i do not know if there is any real blueberry in this strain, possibly just a potent afghani.
Another breeder doing NL X BB is Bomb seeds calling it northern berry i think…
I have tried a few northern lights non crosses, mostly nirvana and other 90’s,2000’s seed banks- and the first batch of NLx BB, and ofcoarse the laughing gas to me was better…NL5 i have not tried and some friends say it is the one to hunt down.a bit more sativa in it i think…im not 100% on that though…possibly a litttle haze?

i had NL a lot over the years. it was so common where i was 2000 to 2005. people growing it almost always grew NL5, a cut. it was great. it wasn’t stinky, but it definitely smelled like good weed and was very easily identified as NL5. i could probably identify a bag today if I had to and haven’t seen in about 5 years. however, when shopping for seeds back then NL was always sold as a no/low odor plant. i thought that wasn’t really true for the 5, but all the other bags of NL were pretty low odor. that was true for the more indica ones (never had a number) as well as the higher numbers ones (only had 5 and up by name). it looked like this low smell NL was in a lot of the vac packs back then.
