Also I’ve currently need to slow down lol I’ve got to many beans to ever run for myself at the moment.
Just started some rush hour pine sol.
Some ghost og that I want to get a keeper from.
Just got some beans from our very own @Foreigner that will be up soon as well as this run finishing up my first cross.
It’s a great time to be a grower. So many options available to us.
They don’t smell bad but it does kind of have a homogenized smell to most of the weed stores it just smells like fresh good herb mostly to me. Downside is most of what they all carry is homogenized cannabis, they probably use some kind of fragrance to make it not smell like weed. But it crosses streams and becomes one? What do the coffee shops smell like in the Netherlands? That’s my question? Maybe a commercial place for cannabis just gets that overall aroma of cannabis?
Keep an eye on those Lebanese-- they like to stretch if you aren’t careful- but IMO a great grow!
Did some this past winter…Draig made some excellent blonde Lebanese hand-sieved hash from a couple jars of it. And it WILL pre sex as soon as it physically can, they are semi-auto, so vegging too far past pe-sex can make them a little ‘larfy’
Hey there! From context I assume you are in Washington! I also live in WA and I understand your frustration with the options available to you! The big companies that dominate the market here are focused purely on yield and money. That combined with strict regulations from the LCB and making barely any money on their product compared to the retailers they sell to, make for a lack in quality. There are, however, some really great smaller farms that produce delicious smooth buds that give great highs. I have personally toured some farms here that are incredible and produce product that is as good as what I grow at home. It is usually the smaller craft cannabis brands that focus on quality. They tend to be a bit pricier, but they are out there. Depending on where you live, your go-to shop may be loaded with just the big companies. I would try to branch out to some other shops and try some smaller brands. Shoot me a DM and I can give you some great recommendations for farms and hopefully find you a strain that is not harsh for you, tastes great, and gets you high like the old days! We can also talk about my next harvest possibly donate you some nugs to see if you like my stuff. I hope I can help you find what you are looking for! It sucks to not be able to partake because it is all unenjoyable to you! Hit me up!
Well, hey, thanks a kilo, bro. I’m messaging you right now.
Well i can tell you in the early 2000s in coffee shops, the weed smells were unique to each strain.
You didn’t have to find nuances thst were subtle
I just had a legal joint that was really very excellent. I didn’t buy it.
I don’t agree. The shops that I go to have a wide selection of different tasting weed, however, I feel that my humble, home grown weed tastes better by far then anything I can buy. I think it has to do with the harvest/ cutting and curing process that I use.I could be bias in this opinion.
Totally. Keep in mind though it’s dependent on where you are. If your budtenders are pushing lbs and lbs or cheap poorly cured indoor than ya all dispensary bud tastes the same but that’s only one segment of the market. Near me the dispensaries do infact have decent bud with pretty much every smell or flavor under the sun. It’s not cheap though
The one I had was really quite impressive. Half bubble half flower. Perfect for the evening bbq that followed.
Ohio dispensary weed is no better than THCA shit we can get online for 100 a zip.
But in Ohio shops its 400+ a zip
A “contraband” ( legal) joint.
They put no enhancers or sweeteners or any of that junk in Athena. You must be thinking of another line.
Whoa, I haven’t been to dispensary in a wile.
That has to be machine trimmed, right? It just looks like a dense rock and there’s no hairs or rogue sugar leaves.
That just looks weird to me.
Machine trimmed, then the trim used to make hash, budder etc…
Here, we are lucky- no sprays or additives–
Michigan is as picky about it’s weed as it is their Hotdogs!!
You follow the guidelines- or get shut down!
Alot of strains are very similar these days
Pesticides overuse
Chopped early
Poorly manufactured
Coffeshop flowers in Amsterdam are the same , 99% garbage
JMHO:
So much dispensary weed tastes the same because (A) they do not care for/tend to the needs of the individual plants-- they use a one-size-fits-all approach to everything they MASS grow…
and (B) like I have been expressing for several years-- the genetics are becoming so '‘interbred’ that they all have family trees longer than most humans…so there is no real distinctive qualities between strains. Everything is ‘cookies’ or ‘cake’ or ‘Kush’ with at least 15-20 different strains in it’s lineage…and few if any of those are landraces.
Pretty soon it will be ‘‘Do you want an Indica, a Sativa, or a 50/50? Which flavor do you want?’’ and that’s it… AND just taking their word as to what strain anything is…
Again–jmo!
From the little legal weed ive bought in stores , id say storage is the issue .
Pretty much all ive had from them was bone dry and had lost most of its appeal . Killer bud , kept in storage at 85 degrees for 2 months will be shit , just like i bought .
Also noticed that our local big dealers , not legal here , are now selling the same shit , not sourced from local growers but bought out the back door from legal areas .
Glad i provide for myself and not forced to buy on the market, legal or black .
Our bud is infinitely better
