Yes I have 4 females outdoors. I’ll be working up clones from all females.
And I have 2 males, I’m cloning up one of the males now. And back chopped the male to bring up more branches for breeding the best ones together later.

I’m crossing a landrace into these female Heirloom Afghani outdoors.
I’ll get seeds soon to gift back. :100::dove:

I took her a little further last year and crossed her with Afropips Malawi Gold. Flowering some out now. So far so good, we’ll see what the flowers like and finishing time, once I know her specifics I’ll be happy to share some of that strain as well!

A couple hydro shops I go to have been doing school supply drives. If you donate school supplies, you get some seeds. I went out earlier and put together a third bag to take when we go on the fifth.

The things we do for seeds :rofl:

I’ll be seeding up Heirloom Afghani the best male and female from this year. Then I’ll gift back here to everyone who didn’t get seeds of that.

It’s my fall project after running the plants this year, I found 2 really killer phenotypes 1 male Skunky/Afghani aroma, and a heavy trichome, always reeking female Afghani aroma.

They will be the ones used for the next gen seeds. :100::dove:

I wanted to make sure I had the best 2 breeders to work with by testing them outdoors.

I’ve got em and I save an extra male I had to test it in case it may have a higher trichome terp quality or better health, you never know lol
It was smaller and not skunky like my master male Afghani… it was pure Afghani smelling. :dove:

I gave a man $20 at Goodwill. For some reason, he put a TV, Nikes and an acoustic guitar in my trunk. I’m starting to think he didn’t work there… I’m sure that $20 made his day though!

On my lunch, I decided to park somewhere different in our mall parking lot and puff my usual drive n puff dubie…
It’s such a beautiful day I decided to leave my car and walk…low and behold I look down and find a very nice looking Gucci wallet.
Picked it up full with over $200 and loads of CC…I work for an insurance place in BC and could of accessed her info from there but a chance if caught I would of been fired…
So off to FB and every store in the mall he had a card for, as she lives over 100km away, time was of the essence.
The local grocery store had a savings card and her phone was on that…
I called her and she was at a hockey tournament with her kids close by.
She came in with such appreciation because it’s Vancouver after all, crackers and zombies everywhere.
So after a huge hug and a $20 tip, she left to go watch her kids play hockey.
Not expecting anything…just wanted to share…
It felt really good…as the old me 30 yrs ago probably woulda gone right to the closest beat buy and grabbed the biggest tv. Just put it in this card… :joy: But this felt much better.
Good luck all. Be kind to all

Wow, can’t believe this is still going. Good to know there’s so many good people in our growing community (go figure)

If anyone else wants to send anyone seeds for deeds, by all means feel free to do so… otherwise I’ll be having some free time again in a couple weeks and plan to follow up on all these!

Well, not sure this really qualifies as a “Random act of Kindness”, but makes for a fun story…

Coming home a few weeks ago on the mountain road, an “anonymous friend” came up on a sparkly new van parked blocking the lane on a winding, blind-curved road in front of a large parcel of undeveloped land. Having had a head-on accident on a ‘straight’ road a few months back there was no way ‘he’ was gonna pull around him! So ‘he’ stopped a few car lengths behind and waited for him to notice. 5 minutes goes by and the van doesn’t move. So ‘he’ finally gets out of the truck and walks up to the van and immediately all the door locks snap shut! It’s some High-Society guy and his family showing off their property and who starts in yelling about who the fuck are you to get out of your vehicle?

Well, a few weeks have passed and since ‘he’ has to drive past the place daily, ‘he’ started saving up all the worthless hermie and floor-mix seeds. At 20 kilometers an hour, one fist-full of seeds tossed out the window covers an area of about 4 sq. meters! At one fist-full every 4 seconds he’s getting pretty good coverage! ‘He’ figures the farthest he can throw them is about 3 meters! All road frontage has now been thoroughly seeded and monsoon has got the watering covered! Don’t be a Road-Rager asshole!

Over the years I think that I have done many random acts of kindness, but with the age, and some drawbacks, now I am more reticent. So I will explain some.

  1. I started programming in basic with 8 years, and in the C64 assembly, the hard way with 13 years. (I had no macro assembler at that time.). Years ago (35 !) I was talking with a friend about computer things, in a time where very few have one here, and less have any knowledge. A friend of him, who I didn’t know at all, approached him and talked about a problem he has with his computer, that frozen from time to time. I hear the problem and sounded familiar to me, so I offered to go and check some things. I went to his house and checked, it was a BIOS configuration problem. He was so gratefull that we are still friends today and is one of my best friends. As he said to me still now when we remember that, I was a total stranger and you came to fix it, and never asked nothing in return. Few people have done that.
With the years I have employed many time fixing PCs and some electronics of people without asking nothing in return, only for the pleasure of doing it. But years later that people (not that friend, others) have taken that as a rule. So one day that one asked me to spend my time fixing his things, and I said that no, I have mine things waiting, and I have it postponed many times, have no time. That person got angry at me. Now I am more reacious to give help.

  2. Not related to that, I am a person that was educated the hard way by my father in being honest and maintain my word. If you have word you will never be nude. Someday in a festival here, I found a wallet with papers, money et all, so I have to walk an hour to the police station to give them and try to find the owner (they reached the lady). The problem was not only spending and hour walking to the PS, but also waiting other hour to they to arrive there. They were all out because was having some fights and troubles (things with big festivities-parties  ). So when they finally came, the festival was over. No festival for me, but a wallet returned to his owner.

Annnnd, all has his drawbacks. Relating to money, I buyed a ticked one day, it costs around 3€. Give 10$ to the person and he gives me cash back. I take it with my hand not giving attention to it, and walked out to leave space to others. As I was going to put the money on the wallet I find that he gives me the return as If I gived him 50€. So I went back and said hey, you have given me more money, take this, and give him the money and that person looked at me angry, as If I were stealing him. No thanks given, only an angry face.

And that way is how a good person starts thinking twice before doing the correct.

Sorry for the long text, I am bored

I once gave a busker playing guitar at the train station £500 in £20 notes.
It was during a time of debauchery in my life when I wasn’t particularly happy, but had access to a lot of money. Money I wish I had now, but I was stupid in my youth and wasted it.
It was making me depressed to be honest, it meant nothing. So I gave away as much of it as I could.
Paid my friends debt off, sent friends on holiday, gave it to buskers etc.
I’ll never forget the guys face when he saw the money in his guitar case. I hope he went home early that day, and had a good time with it.
