Win Seeds with Doctor's Choice [Closed]

I’ve got a jar of beans from the late 90’s early 2000s. I’m still trying, but haven’t been able to successfully germinate any more than 6 of them.

One of the “litter” of 6 is a weird one. Floppy, but healthy.

She and her clones were “active turners” meaning that they actively turned away from overly bright light in short periods of time or towards the light if kept at gardens edge, like a sunflower almost.

-Dramatic movement in short spurts. She also creeped in terms of growth patterns.

I see this plant as a possible contender for a climbing vine-like hybrid if such a thing can be created. I’d like to see that happen.

For strain name, she’d be “Sheep Dog” or “Dear Martha” as we called her Martha, like the Beatles song Paul wrote about his Sheepdog.

Sign me up for the contest please. -Always looking for new possibilities and greatly appreciate the generous offer.

Always wanted to combine a few of the purple strains I got into a “The Color Purple (1985)” series. Oprah’s Revenge would be a great strain name…

Also, Trailer Park Boys inspired strains like The Green Bastard, Mall Dope, Swayze Express etc etc

I would use a Columbian Gold and cross it with an Iranian Barichostan calling it Old New World.

That is quite a question! I think I’d want to ask myself what I am after in terms of making something new, so I’d have to look a lot at what is already in the market space and maybe try to fill a gap.

I’m really excited about the possibility of ornamental cannabis with no regard, or at least, less regard for chemistry. I think their is real market potential for abc, freakshow, ducksfoot, variegated, and purple leaves to endear the plant to home gardeners that just want something that looks cool and smells interesting.

I think this would go along way in normalizing our relationship with this plant in society.

I’d call it “ornamental yard hemp”

I like it!

Personally, I’m interested in combining minor and emerging cannabinoids (like CBG, THCV, CBDV) with high THC varieties. So I have some Syrian landrace genetics that are known producers of THCV cultivars and I would love to combine them with some popular stuff like Chem D/91, Wedding Cake, OG Kush, Sour D, Zkittlez, etc… Just to see if you could find something that has the smell, bag appeal and effects of a Chem 91 but at a 1:1 ratio of THC:CBG or THC:CBD or THCV:THCA.

No idea how I would name it. I’d probably start by looking at the plant, smelling it and tasting the smoke and name from there.

I would just chuck pollen and call it bride of chuckie

I would breed with some Mexican stock and call it Sexy Mexi.
