What is the extra growth coming from the petiole

Hi all overgrowers, Some one was asking in another thread about extra bit of growth coming from the petiole, in their case it was a flower (bud). I stated that I had seen it before a long time ago on a white widow that came from a seed bred 1:1 sibling mating but also that it had vegitation growing from the petiole, as far as I know its called a stipule, but would like to hear others opinions on it. It took a long time searching a 4TB hard drive to find the picture, but here you go. Opinions…
