Well, an update on all the plants, but I am going to let my associates do it…
Lister: Where are all the plants, Hol?
Holly: They’re dead, Dave.
Lister: What is?
Holly: Everything, Dave.
Lister: What, The Tomatoes?
Holly: Everything’s dead, Dave.
Lister: What, Cucumbers?
Holly: Everything’s dead, Dave.
Me: What, The Squash?
Holly: They’re all dead. Everything’s dead, Dave.
Me: The Okra isn’t, is it?
Holly: Everything is dead, Dave.
Lister: Not The Pepper?
Holly: The Bells, Jalapenos and Tabascos! Yes, The Peppers, everything, everything’s dead, Dave!
Lister: The Plants from @Meesh?
Holly: They’re dead, Dave, everything is dead, everything is dead, Dave.
Lister: Wait. Are you trying to tell me all the plants are dead?
Holly: I wish I’d never let him out in the first place.
Seriously, who would have thought that plants don’t like it when you are flat on your back for two weeks and can’t water them. My mom, bless her heart tried, but just wasn’t up for it. So, everything has pretty much died, though no one told the Blue Tara I planted. Though small, they are still green and chugging along. I did get some stuff out of the veggies, so it wasn’t a total loss, but there were problems even before. So I am going to take this opportunity to fix the gutter rig, and evaluate and fortify the soil in the garden beds. Going to get a bunch of autos going so I at least get something for this season and am going to fix my lighting and grow some inside over winter and get some veggies restarted outside.
