That is a nice shade of purple. If it takes over that is going to be a showgirl!

Not knowingly and with out a plan it seems I’ve replaced all electrical surge protector and timers every 5 years
Cheap fans I do maintenance once a year and rep every 3

I just so happens I opened my tent onetime and in front of my eyes my The fan blade seized up I was lucky

God has a way of watching out for us stoners

I might have found the video and link in your thread!
I found them on OG here!

I agree after each run I take my compressor and blow out fans, dehumidifiers, ducts and re grease everything, obviously I should be changing my timers more often but most my inline fans are 10+ years old

Thank you for the compliment!

I don’t run C02 but would love to in the future.
Your distance will be a lot of different variables.
Do you plan on running it full power and just moving the fixture?
I run mine a combination of raising to get the best footprint fo what I’m doing and adjusting the power. I don’t like to waste electricity having them full tilt 24-36inchs away it just doesn’t make sense on a small scale with no added C02

I bought a apogee par meter when I got my HLG lights and I aim to end flowering around 1000-1100 if my plants look healthy in flower
Start seeds/clones 200-300, veg350-550,start flower around 600-700 and work up if they handle it.
This will be the easiest but most expensive way.

When I got my scorpion Diablo I had 4 decent sized plants vegging under a 400W MH in a cool tube at about 18inchs from the bulb along with 144W of sunblaster leds at 12 inch.
When I switched to my scorpion Diablo I had it at 40% power and 27inches away…according to my apogee meter and cheap LUX meter I was around the same intensity but I light stressed the hell outta those plants.
Now that being said I think a complete change of spectrum also affected them and Let’s say if I started with LEDs from the beginning maybe it wouldn’t have been such a shock to them

How much current was passing through the timer?
It was probably not the timer but the socket the timer was plugged into.
The connection between the timer pins and the ‘fingers’ in the socket will heat up when the connection is stressed.
The added heat further degrades the connection causing more heat… see where this is going? Eventually the fingers are not grabbing the pins like they used to and ‘bad things’ happen quickly… Higher current accelerates the process.

There was quite a few watts 315+410ish(Hlg isn’t max) but not extreme.
It’s the only thing plugged into the breaker in my garage currently besides a phone charger.
Ive got my natural gas heater setup on one breaker and two other breakers for the plug ins in the garage I shouldn’t be over loading it so I’m hoping it was the old timer or the socket of the cord like your saying

The wall socket looks good,I threw up a thicker gauge extension cord and a newer GE timer.
Should be good until a timer craps out again lol.
Come the beginning of the month I’ll probably buy new timers and throw these ones in a box for backups

Here’s how I wired mine:

The plastic block to the left of the timer/power bar is an industrial power relay (250VAC, 10A, 120VAC coil)
Bottom blue cable is power in, top is power out and the short cord going to the power bar is to power the relay on and off. Total load on the timer is about 2 watts.

That’s a great idea! I’m a total Morty when it comes to electrical so I should get my brother in law involved here, he’s a second year electrician.
If it’s more than changing a male/female or a wall outlet I tap out real fast lol

If you are interested, I can give you the part numbers and you can check the specs at Digikey. It’s basically cutting and crimping wires, it plugs together like leg-go.

What I really like is down the road, I can switch over to 240VAC (which halves the current) and it is all rated for it now.

It halves the current but the watts remain the same and that’s what the vampires charge us for. I wired in a 240v line to go into the grow romm then used one hot lead on each side of a dual duplex plug for 2 - 120v 15amp lines.

I had a thermostat for my heater short out and almost melt down. I think the problem started with the plug screwing up like the one above and with the arcing caused the short in the 120v thermostat.

:peace:

I might have to try something like that out,I’m skeptical of Bluetooth stuff, it never stays connected to my garbage phone.
How long have you been using it?

Figured I should update my grow tent it’s been a minute or two.
I killed the SugarBreath seed with too much water so I started two more

The one is in the soil now ready to grow!

I mixed up all the soil for the 3 gallon transplant and the 15 gallon second transplant the other day got the soil chillin for now

Boss man says everything looks Purfect so far!

I’ll update the two garage plants tomorrow

Couple weeks ago I fertilized these garage plants with a little bit of these mixed into some rainwater. I forgot to mention that so I included it now

I replaced the timer and extension cord the other day and haven’t had any issues since🤞
later today I’m gonna hit a couple lower branches with @DougDawson PPP pollen.

So my sunset vibes auto by G13 labs ended up herming and pollinating all of my Urban Legends Autos.
There’s a risk of the herm being unavoidable but I also stressed the hell out of the sunset vibes by moving it inside and out all the time, it had unstable light schedules and uneven watering.

I’ve got a lot of seeds all separated if anyone wants or needs some seeds to mess around with Ill give a bunch away free
UL Acid Kush auto X G13L sunset vibes auto
UL Fighting Gorilla X G13L Sunset Vibes auto
UL Mazarilla auto X G13L Sunset Vibes auto
-UL Gorilla auto X G13L sunset vibes auto-

A note for Canadians all of the urban legends autos started outside on June 9-10 and finished well before any risk of frost around 53.5411° N, latitude
The acid Kush replaced a killer Mandarin auto I killed by drowning one week later and still had lots of time to spare

Edit- I was saddened to see I left the bag of UL gorilla auto X sunset vibes auto seeds closed before they completely dried and they all Molded so I can’t share those, a good learning lesson.
Edit- went through the weed again and found a few more good seeds so a few Gorilla will be shared.
