You got that right! Gonna use cal mag from here on out in my RO water. I also was able to collect some thunderstorm rain water yesterday evening so next watering they’re getting a drink of that. Thunder rain packed in N too.
What you think is going on with my girls. Is that RO water like I was thinking? Lacking Ca Mg?
That is the way it is presenting. RO is stripped clean, so CalMag is a necessity but pH lockout is a high probability.
ReikoX laid out a good list, pH in/out & EC in/out are very useful diagnostic tools.
If you are prepping your own soils, some amendments need to ‘cook in’ for a couple months minimum. I found the hard way that dolomite and gypsum need the longest to stabilize.

So PH should be between 6.2-7, but what should the EC be? I just realized my PH tester came with a EC tester. I didn’t know what the hell it was. So this whole EC shit is new to this rookie haha. I’m learning though I’m learning. Loving every minute of it. Appreciate y’all’s help.
That’s correct for the pH, I’ll pass on the EC answer and leave it to the coco growers to answer (it’s not really applicable to soil grows as I understand it).
The difference in pH can indicate soil conditions etc. I’ll leave it to the experts to properly detail. Sampling to outflow is when you get 10% runoff.

What’s up man
Sorry I didn’t look you up before now on here bro. Hope those issues you were having got worked out!
What’s up dude! Just watered them today so we will see. Nice drink of rainwater with cal-mag. Hoping calcium and magnesium deficiency is the answer.
Welcome @EKGgrow88 looks like your off to a great start and already been getting some great advice
Thanks for your service my friend

Thank you, and I’m really enjoying the community/family of growers. I don’t see all that shit talk like you see on many other platforms. At least not lots of it if any.
A few days into week 4 and I’ve made several adjustments. I dropped the light to 12” away, and ditched the RO water for now for some rainwater I collected (about 20 gallons) and added cal-mag before correcting my PH. I was just able to water today with my new high quality h20 (in my waterboy voice) so we will see if the issues with the front 2 start to clear up. The front left has always struggled the most and been the grunt. To make matters worse I snapped the main stem trying to bend the top
over too aggressively lol. I got it propped up and we’re gonna run with it because I know plants can heal. Maybe hard for the autos in such short time, but we will see.Always keep medical tape in the growroom.
Week 5 update and I’d say I got the problem pretty dialed in now and…all. systems. green! The girls are responding well to some new sips of that high quality rainwater with 5ml calmag , dropping the light within 12” and a top dress of some buds and blooms from COM products. I top dressed twice within 9 days of each other and they really just loved it. I really zapped them with that RO water in the beginning. I’m learning a lot and already can’t wait to use my new techniques for the next grow. Look at the difference from week 4-5. Wow! Autos are pretty fun, but I’m not too sold yet. Want to dip my hands into some photoperiods soon. I think I’ll enjoy the ability to train more a lot better.
I know I want in on this ! I have a bit of tents to donate to a good cause !
Nice set up.
Welcome to OG my friend. Good people here. Im happy to say.
Looking great dude hell yeah!!!
Damn Slick. Very nice. Impressed. Peace @EKGgrow88 your grow looks amazing. Good work. It gets heated sometimes. But true. Some are so bad it’s like looking at . I hate to say. The trolls. They are cool at first the trash talking. I’m good here and another place. Seen something on Facebook I don’t want no part of that.
Dude you’re coming over when that’s done and we’re smoking some Oh shit, when mines done, if these fucking bugs don’t kill it we can trade lol
