A micro living organic soil grow

I’m no expert, just learning, so thanks for the input. As always, your knowledge is greatly cherished.

Here is the video, I found it.

That video’s almost three hours long haha!

Is the guy who said he uses humic every watering growing no till? I do think that if you’re in big-ass pots, like 30 gallons or like a 100 gallon bed, you can add more stuff to your water and get away with it. Having said that, the whole point of no till is that you use fewer inputs as the soil ages. Or I thought that was one of the points, anyway.

BTW, I have no knowledge, dude haha! I’m just doing whatever, whenever. It seems to work. I can only speak about my own experiences, but I haven’t been unhappy with any of my grows yet…

Edit: even that grow where I fried my plants with fulvic, the flowers turned out great. That was the Mendo Purps x SSDD and the Big Sur Nigerian x NL2 tester grow I did for Bodhi. The Purps/SSDD didn’t seem bothered by the fulvic acid at all. They looked fine. But the Nigerian/NL2 didn’t appreciate it at all.

No, he uses a soiless mix with no nutrients in it.

Oh, okay. Well, Jesus, no wonder he uses humic acid every time he waters…

How often do you use humic/fulvic, @ReikoX?

I usually add fulvic 2-3 times a week.

Really?!? So that’s basically every time you water, almost? Right?

Okay, then, fuck me. Don’t listen to anything I have to say haha!

But you’re in those bigger beds, correct? Do you think that may give your plants a little more “cushion” or whatever? Or rather, if you were just growing in three- or five- or even seven-gallon pots, do you think the plants could handle getting watered with fulvic that frequently?

I’ve used boogie brew’s pure protein and primo hydroslate with good results. Pure Protein | Boogie Brew

Am I the only person that uses Himalayan shilajit as a humic/ fulvic acid source? I put about .05ish g into a gallon of water maybe 3-4 times in the plants life.

Oh, and eating a half a grain of rice sized piece is like an energy drink. Gets you going!

Not sure about the frequency in smaller pots, but I am using 30 gallon beds. I’m basically doing the no-till feeding recipe from GC.

Day 1: Coconut water, aloe, silica, fulvic
Day 2: Nothing
Day 3: Water
Day 4: Nothing
Day 5: Barley, aloe, silica, fulvic
Day 6: Nothing
Day 7: Water
Day 8: Nothing
Day 9: Nutrient tea (usually neem/kelp)
Day 10: Nothing
Day 11: Water
Day 12: Nothing

So before I order 5lbs of fulvic acid for my outdoor grow, should I be buying something different? Remember I’m all organic. @Tinytuttle recommended crushed humic. What about you bud? How should I add humic to my outdoor plants?

He did mention that he does it with a soil that has barely anything in it or else yeah you would fry your plants or have to reduce the concentration a lot :+1:t2:

I would go ahead with the 5 lb box and start there. There are lots if ways to add fulvic, its in a bunch of products like Bioag TM7, recharge, and EWC. It is also the byproduct of decomposition, so lots of it builds up over time in notill beds. Probably why they seem to get better with age. :+1::seedling:

Thanks. I will do that

Yup, this is the guy!

@minitiger im not sure he is no til or not, he is KNF which I don’t know if that has no til as a part of its protocol but I don’t see why not?

This guy doesn’t do everything KNF, he only does maybe 2/3rds of the typical program.

@Badger yeah it’s funny, he did say that about the Humic being under 60% but did suggest a specific one in his class that is 90% Humic, 100% water soluble, from Organic Approach that he said is actually fine.

I have heard of that stuff for human consumption! That’s awesome that it could be a Humic/fulvic source!

Do you only use fulvic, or Humic as well?

I use fulvic most of the time, but often the “nutrient tea” will have something with humic like Recharge, TM-7, or EWC.

Ah, ok, yeah I saw you mention that but I thought those were for fulvic :+1:t2:

Okay, yeah, that’s almost the exact watering regimen I used during the Purps x SSDD and Nigerian x NL2 grow, when I fried the Nigerian/NL2.

Well, shit, man, I dunno. Maybe I’ll start using fulvic again. Probably should have used it. I’ve been chopping those Uplifts the past couple days and they all look like they’re gonna yield really poorly. Maybe a little fulvic would’ve helped them out…
